I have put on about 5 kilos since I was last here and I am too ashamed to come back. I joined the Biggest Looser comp to try and encourage me but now I have let them down and me. I cant seem to stop eating. I started a new job and am really busy and it just seems easier to not think about food and eat whatever. I can also feel some of the signs of depression rearing its ugly head again and I think its because of the gain and lack of motivation. I know that you guys dont judge here but I cant seem to get started. Would love to hear any suggestions and thanks for listening.

Hi Curvygirl, sorry to hear you're a bit down at the moment. Don't worry too much about the gain, we all have slip ups from time to time *hugs*. I'm not the best when it comes to giving advice, but when I fall off the wagon or lose motivation I try and change one thing per week to start with, just small things, like eat more veggies in the first week and then do a day or two of execise the next week. Sometimes it takes a while to get back into it, don't beat yourself up, we are all here for you :)

Hi Wendy, welcome back :) , sorry to hear you have gained. The only thing I can suggest is when I'm feeling a bit bummed about the whole thing I surround myself with positive things, an inspiring weight loss magazine, a smaller piece of clothing that I am aiming to get into or just hopping on the forums and being around like minded people helps. Thinking about how far you have come also helps.
Best of luck in getting back down there. I KNOW you CAN and WILL do it.

Take care, Sue.

A small loss(and I mean small) for me this week. The positive is I think that I am motivated to do it. Seeing the loss on the scales and being back with all of you is inspiring me to try harder. This week I will try harder and hopefully I will see better results.

Thanks everyone

I am planning a romantic weekend away this weekend. I am trying not to stress about what I am going to eat but I think it wont be a great weekend for me. Just trying to limit the damage.
I remember what kept me going last time I lost weight and its getting me going again. I have even stopped weighing my self every day. I will be really really good next week to make up for it.
Thanks for all the support from everyone

This week I had a good loss of 2kg. We went away for the weekend so I wasnt expecting anything great so I was over the moon at a 2 kilo loss. I need to keep focused so I acheive my goal for Christmas and may be even a little more so I will find it easier to get back on track after the indulgences of Christmas. Thats where I came undone last year. I didnt want to be watching what I ate on Christmas day so I splurged and I never got back on track after that. This year I would love to be only 20 kilos off goal so that I can see that the job could all be done by my birthday in JUne. I am hoping thats what will get me motivated.
The other thing that struck me this morning was seeing my BMI coming down on my ticker. I cant wait until i get it down to 30. I know its supposed to 25 but 30 would be a good goal for me at the moment. When I reach 87kilos my BMI would be down to 29.8. Silly I know but I have to use whatever motivation I can get these days.
Need to get motivated.
