Time to start again!

Postby abax83 » Thu Oct 16, 2008 2:49 pm

Hello All,

I am new to this forum and have decided it is time to lose 9kg to reach my ideal weight!.

Last year I lost 10kg, I started at 74kg (only a sortie 1.50) and by September was 64kg - however I fell pregnant and the weight loss went out the window. I am now 64.1kg and I am aiming for 55kg hopefully in the early half of 2009. I am lacking motivation at the moment and being a stay home mum I have to fight the urge to eat all day. So I found this website and have decided that setting goals and sticking to them might be easier if I post in regulatory to keep me on track.

My First goal - Lose 1kg by 24 Oct plus the exercise today and four days next week - probably gym.

So wish me luck!!! I will report in to fess up any naughty eating :D

Hello All well it is the 24th Today and this morning I Jumped on the scales and....

62.8 , that's 1.3kg lost 7.8kg to go.

So I have not been as good as I have hoped this week, I did not eat so well on the weekend and only managed to get to the gym twice as I had a busy week with my four month old plus I had my car at the Mechanics to.

Now that I have started and seen a good result I thought I would set some more definite goals.

I want to lose the rest of this weight by the 19 December. So that equates to about 1kg per week until then. So I will check in again on the 31 October to let you know how I am going.

This weekend I will not sabotage my loss by eating junk!!!

Thanks all! :D

Congrats on the loss :) Sounds like your doing well! Being a stay at home mum and having food always available and not alot of time to exercise is an excuse alot of people use, but it sounds like you really are doing what you can and its paying off!!! You'll be shedding those kilo's in no time :)

Good Morning!

Well it's Friday and I jumped on the scales this morning and.....

62.2

Which I am surprised about as I have not been very focused this week. I have been quite sick and not really able to go to the gym in the last half of the week. Anyway hoping to re-focus next week and put in some more gym time.

Thanks for reading!

I will not eat junk on the weekend. I will go to the gym four times next week

Congrats! Though, being sick tends to relieve you from some weight. It's not the best way to lose weight, but it works ;) Have a good one this week!

Good Morning All

Well I am finding it very difficult to find the time to exercise with a 5 month old to look after! so far this week I have only been to the gym twice this week but I am hoping to go today and once on the weekend hopefully. Anyway I jumped on the scales this morning and.....

61.5

Not the best effort but at least I have not gained. Hoping to have some more time to exercise next week

Thanks for reading!

As for my advice, take a look at dr Cohen's diet. I know I've said it to all the others here who have had some trouble losing weight, but it seems to work...

Hi - that's tricky...what about taking the bub in the pram for a walk? Hope the week turns out to be easier than you hoped and you find the temptations easier to avoid. Good luck and best wishes, Alexandra
