Back in 06' I lost 27kgs through diet and exercise...once I achieved my goal weight (90kg's) I really slacked off and thought the job was done, over the last 2years I have steadily packed on 15kg's and was spurred into action when I saw a recent pic of myself. I weighed myself and realised that I had ballooned to 105kgs
. I kick started by diet by using optifast for a couple of weeks last time and it really worked for me, so I have decided to do the same thing again this time.
Anyhoo, yesterday I had optifast for breaky, a small can of 98% fat free tuna and some low fat crackers for lunch and a salad for dinner (I love salad's), I had a small Jim Beam and diet coke in the evening. I managed to get in an hour walk with the dog last night too....so far so good for day 1.
Today ...Optifast for breaky, small can of tuna and crackers for lunch, am planning on optifast for dinner. Went for a 45 minute walk at lunchtime and will take the dog for another hour tonight when I get home. I have managed to drink about 2-3 litres of water each day. Day 2 is looking ok as well.
I know that if I can get through week 1, I will be ok. So why am I writing this?, I guess I am kinda talking to myself as much as anything, coaching and willing myself...I know I can do it.
