Hi All,
Checking in before my weigh in tomrorow basically because I have had a dreadful week., I have barely been to the gym and eaten badly all week long. I have a severe dental infection, been to the dentist twice this week and the pain still isnt being relieved; next visit is Tuesday morning. So basically I have spent the whole week eating mushy food in bed while on strong painkillers. :( So, while it isn't an excuse to have let everything go, I'm accepting that when I weigh and measure tomorrow everything will be plus instead of minus!

The pain is either getting to be manageable or I am adjusting to its constant annoyance so I might hit the gym tomorrow so I can start the weigh week off in a positive way. Very keen on having some icecream, I keep telling myself the week has been a waste anyway and that I might as well start fresh in the morning but that is the attitude that let me get to the size I am!

Oh well, I'll know by tomorrow morning how much this week has undone.

Might finally get around to putting up some pictures from my trip later on to cheer myself up!

Hi, I think that I have the same thing that I do in my warped thinking, that is "i've already stuffed up so why not go the hole hog" and i usually do, this is a habit that i need to break. Did you have any luck in forgoing the ice-cream? Do you have any strategies in tackling this way of thinking?????? I'm in need of help with that particular demon

Best of luck with your weigh in.

7/2:
Weight: 103.6 (+.5)
Bust: 111 (0)
Waist: 94 (-1)
Abdomen: 106 (-1)
Hips: 116 (-2)
Thigh: 67 (-1)

so a 6cm loss including both thighs

Back in the game as of today!!

And no, I forced myself to not have icecream, but did have some yoghurt instead! I have no idea why my mind works like that and I wish I could stop it. The only solution I have found really is so have something similar but not as bad, such as the yoghurt replacing the icecream

When you start having cravings have a big glass of water then wait 5min, have another big glass of water and wait another 5min, if your still having cravings find something that will satisfy you but not necessarily that food- but if nothing else will do then allow yourself a small bit- a treat every so often does not hurt and it will help keep things under controle- if we never ate these bad foods then we would start binging far to much.

Well, I spent basically the entirety of my Sunday working my big bum off lol
Couldn't really sleep Saturday night, no idea why, so I only got 4 hours of sleep
Headed off to the gym for an hour
theeeeeen spent 4 hours in the blazing sun gardening in the middle of the day!
I am home alone at the moment and just had to run to the other side of the house to get the phone before it stopped ringing, making me aware of just how bad my thighs are aching lol but oh well, it's good pain, not bad pain.

Even though by the end of the day I was absolutely buggered yesterday I felt really great - I never really join in when the fam gardens etc and it felt really good to participate. My mum and aunty do it every month or so over at my grandmothers so I joined in yesterday and my boyfriend even came along and helped (him being hungover from Saturday night with hardly any sleep and having spent an hour at the gym with me in the morning too) What a trooper!

Also, my grandmother who is usually very critical (not in a bad way - more hilariously; "have you plucked your eyebrows lately", "maybe you should have gotten that lovely top in a size up" etc) told me yesterday she can notice how much weight I am losing and told me she is so proud of me. Kept a huge smile on my face all day because of that as her compliments are generally few and far between and therefore mean heaps to anyone who recieves them lol

It's really great to hear positive remarks from anyone, reinforces what I already know - I am making steps in the right direction!

It's great when someone who is usually a little stingy with the praise compliments you! It shows you really are achieving something. Good on you, Conscientia. Sounds like you had a full and productive weekend. Keep up the good work!

Hmmm, I'm recovering from a super draining morning. Woke up and went straight to the gym, ran home, showered then headed to the dentist for the other half of my root canal!

Food plan for today is:
B: Banana
L: Ham salad sandwich
S: Grapes
D: chicken stirfry

After my holidays etc this is the first time I have really been 100% dedicated to eating well and exercising enough and my body is reacting the same way it did when I first started so lets hope this all corresponds to a big loss this week to get my right back on track!

Laybyed clothes in a size too small. The layby is due for pickup mid April and I can't afford to be wasting the money so I am going to make sure they fit!!

Anyone else think this is a good idea, or am I absolutely insane?!

it is a great idea and i have done that in the past- just a couple of things for my mid way point. I was going to do it for size 12 clothes but then decided when i reach my goal i want to go out and have a day of shopping, trying on clothes and seeing how they look on me, just picking up anything i like without wondering if it will fit or if it comes in a big enough size.
But if you have alot of weight to lose and will need some in between clothes then it would be a good idea- great motivator i think
