Nick, you've come so far and doing so well! I hope your little man is better now, that must be a real worry and makes it even harder for a mum to spend any energy on herself (which is really important). I'm pleased to see you making some more goals (it reinforces that I need to do the same). Keep up the great work, and best wishes for your next weigh in and continued success, Alexandra

I am impressed with myself! Eric went to bed early seeing as he is still a bit off so I decided to have a workout. I did 10min on the strider, 30 arm reps and 60 on the leg master. I would have done more but i was exhausted as have not done that sort of stuff for a while lol. besidesit is still very hot. But it has given me the energy to do more tomorrow.

Well weighed in 200g heavier for the week but I was expecting that. Never mind, so far its been a good day- well, would have been even better if i got to have a walk this morning but i couldn't for 2 reasons- 1 it was raining and 2 Eric slept in until 7:45 so was to late then anyway.
Will be doing a workout today, still decided if i should do my fat burner dvd or head into my gym room for more on the strider and some weights- both sound good.

I feel fantastic! Just did my fat burner dvd which goes for 45 min and works every part of the body using cardio and weights with a bit of yoga stretching at the end, then jumped into a shower and scrubbed all over then ate a fresh salad sandwhich (was going to just have salad but just brought some really fresh bread from a fantastic bakery so could not resist). So now I feel great, fresh and relaxed.

So far today I have had my fruit smoothy and the salad sandwhich, done my 45 min workout and only had one coffee. Would have had a small snack in between but got up late and just was not hungry.
Tonight for dinner I will be having pork butterfly steak with steamed carrot, zucchini, broccoli and cauliflower- yummy

So todays effort so far is 10/10. Cant do any better than that

Good work on the exercise! You sound like you're starting to get into a strong routine of exercising everyday. I need to use your motivation and start to do more exercise myself.
Cheers,
Kate

Ok, todays efforts:

b- fruit smoothy
dropped Eric off at day care then did 2 laps of the oval at a slow jog- total about 10min worth of jogging with just a short break in between
l- 2 sushi rolls (smoked salmon and an avocado (actually ordered chicken but just got avo  ))
s- banana sandwhich
Afternoon I did my fat burner dvd total 45min
d- grilled meat patty on salad sandwhich with cheese and bbq sauce
2 coffee's in total plus a cordial plus about 3L water

So has not been too bad a day-could have done better at dinner but could not be bothered doing anything and that only took 5min to make.

As an extra treat I went and got my eyebrows waxed which for a single mum its a treat- ever tried to sit and have that done with a toddler crying for you? its not worth it so I always leave it way too long between goes. I also decided to use up a home hair dye kit thats been lying around- finally got rid of the last of my foils that were put in in July- half my head had foils so it did not look all that tidy lol.

I think todays effort would be about 7/10 (food brought it down)

The fat burner DVD sounds great. I'll have to keep an eye out for it! Is it a part of any particular fitness range of DVDs or is it just called 'Fat Burner'?

Ooh, I'd love to get my eyebrows waxed. I'm just to lazy and cheap to go to a professional to get it done! I'm always impressed with the results other people get with them, though. Maybe I should save up and have that as a reward when I eventually get to goal.

What colour did you dye your hair? Does it look significantly different to the photos at the start of your progress thread or is it the same colour?

My hair is back to my natural colour which is basically what it looks like in the photoes- just now i dont have blondish bits around the ends.

The dvd is 'Denise Austins Ultimate Fat Burner' I got it from Big W and I think they still sell it- It is the best workout I have ever had, it alternates between 3min cardio and 1.5min weights with varying intencity. It does require a gym step and hand weights- and lost of water!

I'm enjoying reading about your progress even if I don't post often - I'm often limited for time during the week but just wanted to stop by and say I think you're doing great :)
Just keep moving! And don't be lazy...

Today has been a great day- did not go for my morning walk but thats ok.

so:
B- Fruit smoothy
exercise- 45min of my dvd
L- 3 rice paper rolls with chicken - was really yum!
exercise- went for walk then ran half of the park and walked the other half, then ran half and walked half then walked home- 15min in total
snack- 2 biscuits (plain), 2 coffee's and a cordial
D- chicken mini roast, steamed cauliflower, broccoli, carrot and zucchini
Will probably have a jarrah hot choc later tonight as will be up late.

So I think it has been good- got plenty of exercise in and food has been great. the chicken probably not the best but I have given up on plain boring grilled meat- been brought up eating good meat cooked nicely so wont be giving that up any more, I will have small servings on yummy meat.

So I would rate today as 9/10 - dont think I needed to change anything other than the extra coffee- really need to stop having 2+ coffee's.

On another note- I have a job interview to go to on tuesday in toowoomba which i am really looking forward to. is a bookkeeper role about 15 hours a week which suits me perfectly. will be checking out a few rentals there as well

Well I was all set to do a workout today, put Eric down for nap, got into my gym clothes, started the stretching and the phone rang. The real estate agent wants to bring some people around so had 2 hours until then, then as I hang up I hear a knock on the front door- my uncle had turned up to remove some wood from downstairs but stood there chatting for ages. By that stage I had 1.5 hours to get the house up to a suitable level as well as have a shower. So I stopped the dvd and started cleaning up.

Still have a while until the appointment so could have finished the dvd but i think i was glad for the excuse to stop as i have a bit of a headache.

I think I ate a bit too much yesterday.

b- fruit smoothy
b- 1 slice toast with vegimite creem cheese
mt- banana sandwhich
l- half toasted sandwhich with avocado and cheese
at- 2 slices grilled garlic and cheese
d - pasta made with pasta sauce, bacon bits, onion, garlic, pees and corn
3 coffee's

To make things worse I did not ever get back to my workout so none of that was worked off

It is raining this morning so cant go for a walk either. I think the reason why i ate more than normal was because i did not exercise- i feel fantastic once i have had a workout and it puts me in the right mood and i want to do the right thing- being forced to stop my workout put me in a disapointed/ almost bad mood so lost interest in healthy foods.

Will try and make up for it today

I think I have had a good day am am feeling good for it. I had my smoothy for breakfast which as usual I enjoyed. At about 10:30 I put Eric down for a nap and did my fat burner dvd- gosh I love that workout! I really wanted to push myself and I do think I am doing better with it now.

Lunch I had a lovely salad sandwhich, I really wanted some rice paper rolls but sadly I am all out so that will have to wait until shopping day.

In the afternoon I headed over to visit my sister and noticed her new Wii - Oh my gosh I just had to try it! So we put wii sports on, started with bowling, am pleased to say I won- although it was pretty easy. Then tennis- lol I really suck at that, good for the arms though. Then came the boxing OMG that was a great workout, your ducking this way, dodging that way, left arm and right arm... great upper body workout. Then we changed games to donky kong, It was exhausting as you need to shake your arms to keep moving, and then shake more on the left to go left and shake the right to go right- you try doing that at high speed for a while! My arms are really feeling it lol- But it was the funnest workout i have had.

For dinner I thought I was heating up leftover betalife lasagne but it was some other mince dish witha few veggies in it- had that with a light salad which was great.

I did have 3 coffee's so that was one downside.... but other than that it has been great!

Weigh in day is tomorrow- not expecting much as i have had a few too many bad foods during the day, just please no weight gain- I am feeling like there is a magnet holding me on the 80kg line, just cant seem to get under it!

But no matter what tomorrow says- I will push myself like never before, I have every intention to lose 1.5kg next week! (no idea why i put that figure down- just the first number that sprung to mind lol)
