Suddenly my future is looking bright. For years I have been struggling to get by, even when working I had so many depts that full time work still made it hard. Now I will be moving to toowoomba into a unit I can afford and will be about $100 better off a fortnight. I found out I was accepted for the unit not long ago so am happy about that. I also got a phone call about a job! I had given up finding a job for a while as it was just to hard convincing people i was the right person, even with the upcomming move it seemed to be an issue for them. But I will have an interview the day before I move to toowoomba so it wont be an issue.

So this year really is shaping up to be my best year- I am losing weight and before long will be at my goal weight, I have found a great place to live where i know i can stay long term so can settle down, am starting uni which is something I never thought was possible and might just have a part time job so can really start saving for the first time in..... i dont think i have ever had the luxury of savings. I have been through so much in the past 2 years, more than what one person should be alowed to go through so its nice to finally feel like i can move forward.

Starting next month it will be a new life for me- I am now more motivated to lose as much weight as I can by the end of the month.

The best part- I just got a "good on ya" from my mum, compliments are hard to come by with her so that was a real plus.

Gosh I have been so busy the last 2 days! Eric has been in day care so I have been trying to get as much packed as I can, so have been sorting, packing then carrying boxes down the stairs and comming back up to start on another box- dont that so many times in the last 2 days lol. I have been really good with my eating- no slip ups so far this week, well, had 3 coffee's today which is not good, can accept 2 but 3 is getting too many.
Unfortunatly with all that I am doing I dont have the time or the energy to exercies :( I could make time, I still have all of next week to pack but dont really want to be doing too much while Eric is around- trying not to disrupt him in any way so that the move goes smoothly (well, as smoothly as it can go with a toddler around).
I also managed to seel my couch today at a good price, had it listed on ebay and sold for $275 so am happy now, needed a good price so I can buy a smaller lounge for the new place.
I cant wait until I have moved and am settled in so I can really work on losing these last 10kg. I will be doing lots of walking there as I will be close enough to town to walk but will still be a good walk and will feel it by the end of it. Have already worked out my morning walk route to take, I think it will be about the same distance am I am doing now- might end up changing it but at this stage it will be a good walk with a slight hill.

Anyway, feeling positive about my week so far- should still have a loss despite the lack of exercise.

I think packing is ample exercise! And carrying boxes is definitely a work-out! I'm sure your weight loss will continue unabated. Good luck with the moving! :D

Gook luck with the move, that is really hard work by itself, let alone with a toddler - don't beat yourself up if you don't manage any extra exercise on top...you'll be amazed what you achieve physically from the packing and move! All the best with the new chapter!

Yeah I was kinda exhausted after all that packing yesterday and do have sore stomach muscles today! There is still more to do as well lol- its never ending :( Just cant do much more unless Eric is sleeping, otherwise will all wait until next Thursday when he is in day care- which is my last chance to get it all done

So annoyed! Last night I had a call from the agent letting me know a valuer would be around at 10:00am. So this morning I plan my day around that, would put Eric down for a nap, repack some boxes that got wet in the rain last night (garage kinda flooded) then the valuation and then should still have enough time for a workout and shower before he woke up. So He does down and I head downstairs. By 10:30 I was wondering where he was, had expected him to have come and gone by this stage... So I ring the agent- The pest inspection yesterday showed up some termites so the buyers have pulled out (second lot) so the valuer was not comming. Thanks for letting me know! By that stage I could have already finished my workout if I had of known. So anyway, I decide that I will start my workout and just hope I get through it.

After 20min I was standing there all sweaty and stinky and I hear the cry from the bedroom- he woke up :( So I quickly try and dry the sweat off before I get him out of bed. I will have a shower when he has lunch as he will be distracted and I can shower in peace.

Its just so irritating- First time in days I had a chance for a workout and it gets spoilt just because someone could not pick up a phone to let me know whats going on! After only 20min it has built up my energy and so really wanted to finish but cant. Cant go for a walk to burn it off as its raining. Might head up to the shops after lunch and do some laps of the shopping centre- need to buy some fruit and milk anyway.

I hate it when that happens! I wish people could either stick to their appointments or at least let you know if they're changing them. Good luck with burning off that extra energy!

oh nick, it's frustrating isn't it. I find myself wondering why people can't stick to arrangements or pick up the phone also. There seems to be a disproportionate number around. Sorry for your bad news of late. There seems to be a fair bit of that around of late too. Hope things improve too. And don't worry about not working out more - 20 mins is great. All the packing - also great! All good in the long run to head you in the right direction of where you want to be.

Well I managed to get a full work out this morning thankfully, it felt so great and really enjoyed it. I only just managed to get through it and shower before Eric woke up. I really want to go for a walk as I am sick of being stuck inside but its been raining all day today and yesterday, am really hoping it clears up for me to go in the morning.

I almost spoilt it just then though... some kids turned up selling chocolate!!! I can ignore it in the shops as I dont go down those isles anymore but when someone holds out a box of it and asks if I want some it is not easy to say no! I felt like I had to explain why why I didnt want any- instead of telling them I dont want to be fat anymore I just said politely that I dont have any money on me unfortunatly.... Would have had enough for a block or 2 if I really wanted to get some.

Eating has been really good today, had sushi rolls for lunch, had a smoked salmon one but I did not enjoy the salmon! I normally love smoked salmon but ended up pulling it out- dont know why, it did not actually taste like it was bad, just was not enjoying it

Am getting sick of eating frozen meals though- they might be healthy ones but I want some nice steamed vegies! I cant wait till I am in my new place and have been shopping. There is a really great fruit and veg near my new place- well, probably a 15min walk away, so will start walking there every few days for more fresh produce.

Good on you for sneaking in a bit of exercise today.

I'd be p*ssed off too if a real estate agent did that to me, too.

When do you move house?
Just keep moving! And don't be lazy...
