Arrrgh!
I have realised that I have hit a little stop sign on the journey-or a speed hump or whatever other analogy you want to use. I don't have a goal weight really, I don't have a goal date, I don't really have a goal outfit. I have worn two pairs of pants this week that I couldn't fit into 3months ago and it feels so so good. I am going to try and figure out my goals tonight and record them here.

Official weigh in is a + of 200g, but I am feeling okay about it. I have eaten fish and chips this week as well as chocolate, which I haven't had in the last 3 months. This is my slip up week and I have noticed that it has coincided with how busy and stressed I am at work so I am learning my flaws.

This week I aim to try to lose that 200g plus some more, but I know it will be tough. I am a big believer in what happened two weeks ago will show up on the scales, not necessarily a week before. It might just take me two weeks to see results but at least I know what I have done and know how to rectify it. Onwards and upwards I say!

I got a really nice comment about my weight loss today and it wasn't just a 'have youlost weight?" it was like "you've lost heaps of weight recently haven't you, everyone's talking about it"

It really boosted my self-confidence and I have finally finally realised that what I have accomplished is really quite good. I am stoked. More work to come but at least now, I am going to focus on the future not the past nor present.

It's great that you got such a lovely compliment. It really helps make it seem worthwhile, doesn't it?

I like your theory that what you do today shows up in two weeks. I should remember that. Often I'll do a heap of exercise or will eat really well and be gutted when I haven't lost weight the next day.

For us that lose weight slowly it makes sense to believe in this theory. I know that the next two weeks will be crucial to my success over the next month and undo the wrongs of the past month.

BRACES ARE OFF! Finally, can't believe that they are off. I just ate a muesli bar without getting stuff stuck in my teeth. Can't wait to eat and apple and a steak!

When I started on this journey, I wrote down a whole list of clothes that i couldn't fit into. I just crossed off about 60% of them! It feels great! I think recognising your achievements really helps to stay on track or get back on track if you are off a little. Today I put on a pair of Sz 12 jeans that got too big for me while I was overseas, I wanted to see what they were like. I couldn't wear them out of the house, they were dragging on the floor and I needed a belt. Woo Hoo! So I put on the skinny-er jeans that I wore to my birthday 2 years ago, after coming home from Korea. They fit! They fit so well that I wasn't embarrassed about wearing them out of the house and have since kept them on all day. It feels so so good.
Thanks for all the comments everyone-they really help on those 'low' days. I enjoy reading all about your journey as well. We are all so different yet something like our health connects us all.

I was nervous on the scales for this weeks weigh in. I have been a lot better food wise this week but exercise is still lacking, only managed two walks this week. The weather here has been shocking and although I know I shouldn't use that as an excuse, I do!
I have still had some treats this week which is very unlike me but after 12 weeks of not slipping up once, I think that I deserved it. I ate two mini mini Lindt Bunnies, which I guess were 100cals each as well as a handful of thin potato chips-something I seem to crave. Now that I have had them, I don't want them any more. (The best part was pushing them away thinking 'that's enough'.

So with all that, I have still managed a loss of 800grams and am now at 64kgs. Very happy with that. Can't wait to get back into things this week in terms of exercise and eating, should be a bit easier now I am on holidays....

I lost 6.9kg on the 99day challenge, very excited about that.

Eating has been a lot better this week, writing down everything but life has just got in the 'weigh' of exercise. There's always something else to do that seems so much more appealing. Have to work on this, must work on this.

Hey Kelvinator - you're doing so great :) Don't worry about the no loss this week - think of it as practice for maintenance ;) Hope you have a good week.
