Here I am... BAck at last.

I have lost the plot a bit.

I had a good week... and about 5 bad ones!!!

I will now attempt to record my days, I am doing a food/exercise diary... so will attempt to do that in here.

I welcome all comments, and any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Mon:
Breakfast: Protein smoothie with berries/banana, lecithin and LSA.
Lunch: Turkey and salad wrap.
Snack: Slim Rigth Protein Bar.
Dinner: 2 egg omlette with ham, parsley and cheese.
Exercise: Apart from working (Doing stocktake so moving all day!!), I did a 35 minute toning class with weights.

Tues:
Breakfast: As above.
Snack: Protein Bar.
Lunch: 3 cold rolls.
Dinner: Homemade roast chicken with steamed veg.
Exercise: Walked to school twice (there... downhill with pram, back...uphill with pram, there...downhill, back...uphill) 4 kms all up. 20 minute bike ride with No 1 son. 35 minute cadio class.

As I said I look forward to any tips.

Take good care. xxx

What a day.

Both good and bad!

It started off good - got kids happily to school/kindy! Yay!!
Then got a lovely letter from our lawyer - so am very happy!!! :D :D

Then had a 1pm appointment to get eyes checked... had to get Number 2 to kindy at 12.30 so 1pm appointment was perfect.... When I got there guy said I had a 12.30 appointment and had missed it. What???????

I would never have made an appointment for 12.40 if I had to get my son to kindy at 12.30... even 1pm was pushing it a tad fine... but I made it.

I then got really really cross - and Iam a person who never gets cross at shops as I too work in service. The next appointment he could give me was 2.40 - way too late and as if I am going to hang around town paying for parking and doing nothing for 2 hours, not to mention the fact that I had school pick up at 3.15. I was very cross. I said the girls name who had booked the appointment... and I asked for her to be chastised - I don't know if anything will come of it - but I was soooo cross!!!!!!

Anyway..
Eating today:
Breakfast: Protein smoothie (as above!!)
Snack: Slim Right choc and cookie(?) crunch bar.
Lunch: Turkey wrap.
Snack: Apple.
Tea - will be fish and veg (I think Dan bought tuna or salmon!!!)

Exercise: up and down 6 flights of stairs - was so cross after stuff up that I practically ran up them!!! Walking kids to school (2kms) then did 45minute walk around river (about 5 kms) and will do kick box class tonight.

Last Thursday I weighed 97.8 - am hoping to be less than that tomorrow!!!
Also am doing measurements tonight as well...

Stay tuned!!!

I'm exactly the same Meegs, it takes a lot for me to get cross with customer service people as I am on the recieving end so often, however sometimes you just can't help it: and this time sounds totally justified!

How are the protein smoothies, do u like them? You are doing really well this week, whoohooo for Meegs!

Good idea with the food and exercise diary, I reckon it will be great at helping keep you on track! Don't stress about the little slip ups, you're always so consistent!

Have a good night lovey xo

Well nearly a year to the day since I started this thread...and I am in almost the same position that I was in at this time last year, except a bit heavier.

Have to get back on track.

I found that when I was active in this forum that I had my head more tuned to weight loss so I am back to haunt you!!!

I look forward to reconnecting with you all and to letting you in on all my news.

Currently I weigh about 101 kgs so am lloking to first get under 100 and then get down to 93, which was my lowest weight last year.

Cheers

I totally agree. When I was coming here regularly I was much more careful about my weight. Over the months I've been away I regained a few kilos... it could be correlation rather than causation, of course, but since I love the forum it's a good excuse to come here often!

Good luck with your weight loss, Meegs!

Hi Meegs,

I wasn't a member here when you were last posting here, but good luck on your new weightloss journey. You only have to lose 1.1kgs before you're back in the double digits, and I'm sure that will be great motivation for you when you get there. All the best :)

I have just added a ticker which I will use to track small goals... I am not falling into my trap of saying I will lose 20kgs etc. I know that can work for some people but for me I think that is an insurmountable number so I give up.
5kgs is not too big and is certainly do-able.

Happy Australia Day to you all.

Cheers :D

Thanks girls.

I have a confession... My name is Meegs and I am a serial weigher.

I weigh myself every day - more often then not 2 times a day!

I know the pros and cons to this but while I am happy doing it then I will continue!

ANYWAY - that is not the only thing I wanted to day... today I weighed in at 99.4.

YAY 99... woot woot!!!

Happy day!
Cheers

I'm a serial weigher too, Meegs. It's not uncommon for me to jump on my scales 3-5 times a day!

I don't really pay that much attention to the numbers though, unless they are lower haha. If it's a lower number, I'm all happy and excited, and use it to motivate myself further. If it's a higher number, I just brush it off and wait until my "official" weigh in day. Funny how the mind works!

I like to weigh in every morning for my own knowledge, I find it helps keep me on track more. If I don't weigh in, I find I lose motivation.

I totally agree - it also helps me to keep track just as you have said Miss V.
