Sues Progress........

Postby Shalimar » Sat Apr 04, 2009 7:07 pm

I thought I would start up my own thread in here.

I don't even really know what I am going to put in here, probably just my own current thoughts, feelings and ramblings, such as this one.
I guess I will know when the time comes, but I guess it has to start somewhere........

Not a lot to say really but things are looking brighter this morning and the scales are finally moving in the right direction, thankfully.
Here's to a good week.

Hi Sue! It's great to see that you've started up your own progress thread and we can all follow your very successful progress with awe and admiration :D  8)

Although a more befitting place might be the 'almost there' section - how exciting!! :D :D I know your initial goal is 75kg and then the wait and see approach so I'm sending you heaps of luck and best wishes and I look forward to your 'almost there' status

best wishes on your continued success, Alexandra xxoo :D :D

Thanks again so much Alexandra :D , saying thank you doesn't seem enough because I am always saying it to you, somehow it sounds kind of shallow but I really do mean it.

I can't wait for the almost there section but I will settle for getting into the 70's for now  .

Nice to see you have a progress thread now :D I'm glad the scales are back to going in the right direction now for you. You will be in the 70's before you know it.

Thanks Starr :D , I really do hope so.
If everything goes my way I should be there in a couple of weeks. If nothing the happenings of last week are going to ensure I behave myself on Easter Sunday  .

Sue congratulations on your massive achievement. You had done so well and we all know the last 10 are the hardest. I think they are the most important as it always seems to be the stage I give up. Keep going you will no doubt acheive your goal and it will all be worth the effort you have made. Good on you.
Need to get motivated.

Well, what a week, all the fluid I gained from that evil sodium loaded meal has finally left my system and coupled with all the extra exercise I did to try and counteract the badness done from the above mentioned meal has seen a massive drop for me this week. I am now more determined than ever to not over do it on Easter Sunday.

As a side note if I go awol it's just our net playing funny buggers, it is working for know but don't know how long for and we are also changing providers so may be without it again for a few days next week.

Hi Amy, I have been at it since the beginning of January last year.

In hindsight I was probably a little silly at first eating far too small an amount of calories (certainly no less than someone who substitutes 3 meals a day with shakes and it was real food) but on the plus side it allowed me to see fast results and spurred me on to stick wih it. I slowly built my calories up bit by bit, the opposite of how most people do it but it has worked for me.
I am now eating more than my CK recommended (1370 cals).
I have the occasional meal out and the occasional Indian takeaway ( I thoroughly recommend Oh Calcutta if you like Indian).
I also indulge in a couple of pieces of dark Lindt chocolate each and every night- I figure a piece or two each night has to be better than a whole block at once and it has gone a long way to helping keep me on track.

Oh yeah and lots of walking and step on the Wii fit.
I walk my son to school from up near Investigator Drive at Woodcroft to the corner of Bains and South Roads at Morphett Vale 3 days a week and then I walk back home, other days I park half way and walk the rest of the way. Weekends I just stick to walking around our biggish block.I also do around 1-1.5 hrs. on the Wii Fit each day.

Thanks Alexandra, once again :D .
