Amethyst's Loss

Postby Amethyst » Wed Apr 08, 2009 7:42 pm

Well I think it's about time I started this. When I started weighing I was around 78kg now I'm 75.4kg Which is a decent loss I think. My ultimate goal is 55kg (I'm a shorty - 153cm). Looking at the numbers now I want it lower, given the time frame but It's my fault they're not. I'm the one cooking this week so it may help. My Calories are low even with little exercise today so i think upping breakfast may be an idea. And Now I have this to make me work harder. I weigh in everyday but I won't post here everyday. If I keep positive and do my best I can make it :)

Amethyst's Loss

Postby Amethyst » Thu Apr 09, 2009 3:39 pm

I was shopping today and I was starting to crave a milkshake. I didn't think it would hurt too much but then I saw my reflection in a dark glass shop window and said "No Way". I looked horrible which brought me down from my happy high but it did the job.

So far today I i've had a small bowl 1.5 cups of nutrigrain with Shim Milk and a subway club. Done Some exercise too. Weight watcher recipe spaghetti Bollognaise for dinner. So far had 10 glasses of water

Good luck

Thanks court. I do try to eat more but I don't believe cramming food down my throat is productive. The bollognaise has a side salad so I am doing fruits and vege's more. I need a snack so I think I'll grab a piece of fruit anyway.

Yeah I know. I didn't exactly mean that either. More that I don't eat when I'm not hungry.

It certainly is effective. Dooing ok according to CK though I want to be under the 1400cal malk. Grandma has given me two chocolates over the day that I've yet to eat (even though they've been sitting in front of me all day). It's the good stuff too - Lindt. I may have one once I'm under work off a lot more caleries. Though perhaps my fat intake is too high. Surely a weight watcher's recipe wouldn't be so high in fat? Or maybe it's because it doesn't have a "light" version of walnut and date muffins on CK. Need to Focus on keeping Fat down and probably less carbs too but with my caleries still being the same. Yeah I think I'll put the chocolates back in the fridge. Well my weight has been about the same these last two days after a decent drop over wed night. Hopefully I will record a loss over easter which may be all I can hope for. Working out hard. tried my yoga DVD today. It's new exercise so it's shaking it up but not a higher than my other DVD's.

Well I was so good over easter and then I eat my chocolate today. Not all of it so I didn't go over board. My weigh in day is Thursday now because I have been finally convinced scales addiction is bad and Thursday fit with my challenge. I'm doing good so far. Had yummy home made mostly healthy Pizza though it had bacon on it. I walked for all up half an hour today and man it was hot. Need to drink more water. All up I think it's been a good day.

Thanks lots Milkyway. I need that :)

Oh I was so bad today. A Maccas Hot apple pie and Fish and chips for lunch. I had salad with it and have done at least 3 hours worth of walking while shopping. That's got to count for something. My legs were hurting from all the walking on monday in the new boots, comfy as they are, but I think alll that walking stretched them out. I got some celeb slim stuff to try out. I've read the auguments for and against shakes and bars but I know they're not to replace main meals. I need more protein anyway. Apparently my Aunt did well on them so here's hoping my experiment works. Weigh in tomorrow. Wonder what will happen.

Crap. Small Gain. 75.2 And I'm not sure my measuring is consistent. Either that or as my weight fluctuates, my body changes shape bizarely. Had A shake today for an afternoon snack. maybe it's my tastes in Alcohol but it tastes like it was or should have been alcoholic. And it was vanila. My milkshake flavoured alcohols are usually chocolate or caramel. But not bad. Might consider adding it to my Program. I guess I'll see at my weigh in next week. Done some of my exercise DVDs.

Measurements -
Chest: 97 cm
Waist: 87 cm
Hips:109 cm
Thighs: 66 cm
Arm: 33 cm

Food:
A cup of Nutri grain with Skim Milk
"lite" home made Pizza
Ham and Cheese on A white bread roll. not much butter
Orange juice
Plenty of water
Celeb Slim Shake
Hamburger and low fat Chips.

I've Not been real careful the 3 days before today. Got back on the horse today. I seem to be low on Calories at the moment. During my visit to the doctor I Asked about weight loss and of course the effect the pill will have on it though the pill won't be an issue for a few weeks yet. She recomended the dietician they have there too. She seems to think I'm doing ok with my plan. She gave me a sheet which didn't help me much but we'll see.
