Oh wow, your post really struck a chord with me! I know exactly how you feel about the 'hovering', I've been doing the same thing as well over the last couple of months. I decided to get back on track and last month I managed to lose 2kgs. I'm keen to try and lose at least 2kgs per month for the rest of the year, so maybe we can support and motivate each other? I really want to be able to wear something 'nice' this Christmas and New Years Eve, and not always feel so fat and frumpy compared to everyone else!
Also, I think Yum Cha is Chinese? Either way, there should be some healthy things you can eat. Last time I had yum cha, they had a lot of steamed vegetable available, like bok choy etc, and also a lot of simple noodle dishes and meat dishes. Stay away from the deep fried stuff though! Good luck
