hi!

so as i wrote in the introduction topic....

ive been on this site numerous times always looking at posts and tips etc. and have decided that i should start being accountable and recording my progress so when i continually stuff up i can get some encouragement.. or a kick up the butt!

im 26, 178cm tall and currently weigh about 72kg. my aim is to get to 64.

i tend to eat pretty healthy but my major downfall is binge eating. i eat something bad and then i just cant stop. its terrible. and the reason ive got those extra kilos on.

i exercise a fair bit. gym a few times a week and go for walks a fair bit too.

so my plan for this weight loss is....
1200 calories
gym 4 times per week
min walk around the block every day

and most of all... NO BINGE EATING. that is my number one goal. just be healthy!!!

so in here i will be recording my daily food intake, exercise done and any other things i think i should be sharing..
and every week will be recording my weight and body fat %.

so im looking foward to seeing those numbers DROP!! and i know they will!!!

Good luck, Chloe! I'm looking forward to reading about your progress.

Do you know what causes your binge eating? I ask because restricting your calories to 1200 per day might actually excacerbate it depending on the cause. I know quite a few people here have the same issue so hopefully one of them will have some great tips for you.

being accountable is a great way to keep you on track. I know this board helps me. Welcome :D

ok so 3 days down and thought i should write what ive done.

tue 14/4
calorie intake: 1189
exercise: gym, 30 min walk around block

wed 15/4
calorie intake: 1211
exercise: gym, 30 min walk around block

thur 16/4
calorie intake: 1211
exercise: gym, 30 min walk around block

so i know only 3 days but im happy with that and havent even felt like im hungry or need to eat junk. but if i do im just going to have something little, record it, and get back on it!

3 more days then weigh in on monday morning. think if i lose anything it will be mostly water but still will be encouraging!

weighed in this morning:

weight: 69.7
body fat %: 24.5

thats a loss of 4.1kg and 1.4% body fat.

so lots of water was lost i think although the results make me want to keep everything up!

But it's actually 3.5kg and 2.1% fat! Hee hee.

just looked and i mistakingly was going off what i saw on the scales a few weeks ago. looked at the wrong start date!
