Had a great day today...

Breakie: Kelloggs crunchy nut with skim milk
Lunch: Ham & salad sandwich on soy linseed bread
Dinner: Mongolian beef & HEAPS of veges with rice

hmmm I felt really good but now that I look bak it seems like ALOT of carbs...cereal, bread & rice all in one day...can't be a good thing ??

But I drank 2 liters or more of water and did a grueling 60 minutes of aqua aerobics tonight so I'm feeling very good right now :-)

goodnight all xoxo

I have had such a great week so
far. Kicked my butt into gear last week & I hv stuck
to the plan so far :-) Hv had no takeaways and sticking to my calories on CK. Some days I'm under but dnt think that shud matter too much! I was driving to woolies and made a sudden turn for an unknown reason and just drove towards the gym, signed up and got the best deal u can for dec 1st. No joining fee (usually $199), and on a student rate it's only $14 a week...how good it was hard to resist hehe I had been doing aqua aerobics before this week and at $10 per session it was kinda dampening my purse lol so this gym HAS A POOL and does aqua 5 days a week and it's all included in the gym facilities hehehehe anyways that is my excitement for the week. Just so proud of myself for taking the step into the gym cz I've put it off for 7 months nw cz of embarrassment....but right nw I'm pushing forward and I WILL get to
my goal :-) I did over an hr of cardio/weights on wednesday, 20 minutes of laps in the pool yesterday then an aqua aerobics class !! It was good fun & my body is quite sore today lol but today I'll be bak in that gym busting my butt hahaha !
My eating has been good I think....still feel like it's too many carbs but according too CK I'm always under my daily input!

Wednesday
break: crunchy nut cereal, lite milk & 1/2 tsp raw sugar
lunch: ham & salad sandwich on soy linseed bread (no margarine)
dinner: mac & cheese
snack: yoghurt & crackers & dip
Thursday:
break: crunchy nut cereal, lite milk & 1/2 tsp raw sugar
lunch: ham n salad sandwich on soy linseed bread (no margarine)
dinner: macaroni & cheese....small bit of nachos (flattie cooked it & they are my fav I cudnt resist :-(
snack: yoghurt & weightwatchers almond cake slice

I kno sum choices are wrong but I have not gone over my calories & will continue to try n eat better. This gym will be the best thing for me no doubt at all & I can't wait to gain my fitness back. Right nw I'm walking at 4.8 - 5.0 on the treadmill and I think I hv a long way to go to achieve gud results. Weigh in on next Wednesday I believe :-)

Hey all,

Well im still here somewhere - on these 40mg duromine tablets now and noy are they a lil overwhelming. they practically cut ALL my appetite out and when i eat they make me feel nauseas. havent weighed myself in a while so i dont know where i stand. when i was on the duromine tablets 6 months ago they gave me no side effects but this time my mouth is dry and pastey, i have no appetite, i am awake till 3-4am in the morning, and my mind is a lil cloudy. im thinking of going to see the DRS this time round co zits been 7 days i think and the side effects havent lessened...im thinking its coz they are the strongest dosage so the highest rate of effect and rapid weight loss? but ii anna do this the right wa - not lose heaps at a time. Hmmm hurt my leg a week ago so havent been able to exercise so im waiting for it to heal up and i can get bak on the band wagon. should probz weigh myself sometime this week to see where im at :) anyhoots have a good day all !

ahhhh thats my procrastinating for today lol

Howdy, back to my diary I go lol well....it's now been a month on the tablets And I recieved my first "have you lost weight"? Comment ;) it really boosted my mood & my confidence! And I'm feeling great. My current weight is 120.8kgs. (yes I put on eveything I lost last may back on) ! I'm anticipating getting under that 120kg mark...coz I haven't been and STAYED less than that since I was 19 I'm pretty sure. Sad really. The side effects r still horrendous for me this time round -I can't believe from no side effects last year to recieving multiple side effects this time! I am hving constant headaches, VERY dry throat & mouth, horrible shakes, awake till 3-4am every night (which is affecting my UNI studies big time), and oveRall just feeling out of my mind n dizzy. I have NO appetite at all & gt extremely nauseas n dizzy n realise my body is telling me it needs food. I need to start eating small meals every 3 hrs like I've been reading on here...maybe it will help :) oh & I'm still in need of pushing myself to exercise! I'm loving aqua aerobics at my gym need to try & go every second day :-) well I'm trying to listen to my body & fix these side effects cz I never had them before. More eating, more exercising & more sleep shud get me there. Thanks for reading my ramble :) xx danni

Hey Danni, I just wanted to say keep up the good work babe! You're doing really well! I don't like the sound of that duromine though :( Sounds like its making you sick which probably isn't good. Also, with worrying about carbs and stuff, I wouldn't stress - as long as you're staying within your calorie limit, it's all good! As long as after a while you begin to opt for more complex carbs, such as brown rice, wholemeal bread, or bran flakes - these are just better for your body and tend to have a lower GI (meaning that you're body can use the energy for longer - yay!). Although, apparently when it comes to pasta it doesnt matter if its regular or wholemeal, because it's all low GI... dunno about that one, but my friend told me and she's training to be a nutritionist. Remember also that on the food pyramid, they say 6 - 11 serves of grains and cereals :)

Hope all is going well!
Lisa.

Hey Lisa, awww so good to hear from u sweet cheeks!! Well I'm happy to say that the side effects have weened off a bit. Thank goodness :) on the flip side - I'm still having no appetite during the day and then BAM it hits 10-11pm at nyt & I'm starving. But it's not good to eat that late at nght everything will just store as fat :( argh so stressful to get this routine right! lol everything is like a crazy circus this past 2 months ! But yea I have multigrain and wholemeal whatever I can. I dnt eat much bread anymore but if u do it's never white :) how's ur journey going babe? Hope everything is ok and ur achieving the gals u want. Keep in touch & keep the advice rolling hehe

Hi sweetie! It's a total myth that eating late at night stores as fat!! If you eat and you're within your calorie limit, your body will burn it, no matter what time of the day you eat it :) Good to hear that the effects are wearing off though :) *hugs*

Hey hunny, sorry its been a while since ive been on! Hows things going? Well i have started a "boot-camp" 6 week intense workout once a week training session, then we have a 1 week break, and begin another 8 week bootcamp training session which will be twice a week! I did my first session yesterday morning 5am and omg i almost died! It is sooooo intense - you never stop! lol I had to roll out of bed this morning and even struggle to sit on the toilet seat lmao! My thighs, butt, arms and tummy are sooo sore but it will be worth it in the end i believe! ;) I have a HUGE question to put out there....but what is the best snack foods? How many snacks shud their be in a day? Is it bad to eat carbs after 5pm? and how can i prevent tiredess? I think im not eating enough or not eating the right things coz im sooo tired all the time!! Ahh so many questions i know lol but yea, any advice from anyone is good to me :)

HOPE your well babe and keep on going :)
