i think nsw is the strictest. you are you on your learners where you have to do a log book of 50 hours driving. and you cant go for your p's until you are 17. once you do a driving test and get your red p's and pass you need to be on them for a year and then you can go for your green p's which is a computer based test. you are then on your green p's for a minimum of 24 months and then you have to do another test (computer) to get your actual licence. but being on a single income (micks) and having a little bub i cant justify spending $100 to go for my green p's and if i fail the computer test i have to pay another $40 each time i do the test. *sigh*

Ally asked

What is that beer like Slimmin?? I have heard about it, but I am never been game to try it as beer tends to make me bloat and frothy-burp if I drink it!!

Well I really like it Ally , it has a nice taste and didnt make me feel bloated at all. I had two a couple of weeks ago and they went straight to my head though. I think its 4.8% or close to it...so its not a light beer, just low in carbs 8)
[no excuses, I can do it!

Thanks for that slimmin....mmm don't think I had better risk it!!!

Geez Kate I think you might be right about the strictest licenceing in the country (still NSW seems to be quite high on the young ones killed on the road though :( )

Jules....hope you feel better soon *hugs* to you!!

Good one Jules. I am sure you will do just fine. Build up your strength again slowly and dont push it too much whilst you are sick. It will only delay you getting better again otherwise.
