Hey pobox, how's it going?

Thanx for your pm, it really helped me to relate. Glad that you had a great weekend & don't worry too much about the bad eating habits, these past few days I have given in to chocolate temptation & done absolutely zero exercise, so God only knows what I weigh now??

Anyway, back into it today! Good luck for the rest of the week,

Thanks Czarina, Amethyst and Hayley! Amethyst - you really made me smile about dugongs being closet mermaids! I love it!!! I wonder how the hell they get so fat from just eating grass? .......... but then again.. I can get fat from just smelling fat.. actually.. I'm hungry.................... !!

PS just did 5km on the treadmill - 65minutes - 263 calories burnt. Had a good eating day today, except I think I might break all that in the next5 minutes. Had salad for dinner and now I'm STARVING! .. how's 1 muffin with mashed banana on it? a healthy choice? I might just do it!

English Muffins are around 160 cals so not bad, in my opinion, a banana is no dramas.
If it is the cakey type of muffin then they are calorie loaded.

Yes Shalimar it was the English muffin kind.. so yesterday was a good 'food' day.

I woke up this morning with a lovely 400 gram loss. So I'm about to get back on the treadmill.. so far this week I've lost a total of 600 grams and weigh-day is Thursday... I'll be happy with 600 grams but a lil bit more would be great!

Overall, I'm eating less, I'm not counting calories anymore, I can't be bothered. Just trying to do exercise and making a healthy food choice as much as possible. Quite frankly, I know I'm only in my 3rd week, but I don't think I'm doing a hell-of-alot to lose this weight. I remember last time when I was getting skinny and had a higher muscle ratio that it got really hard to lose.. so so far, its just will power at eating less..

okay off to walk for an hour on the treadmill ........... Bring on the 85 zone!!!! pulease!

Dear confession -board.....

There's something I didn't tell you:

I EAT CHOCOLATE EVERY DAY!!!!!!!!!!! ......... even through this DIE with a "T"
I couldn't live with out it! I buy those milky way packs of 18 or something.. they've got 57 calories per tiny bar and I've given the packet to a work mate who ISSUES me two a day.
Lordy, lord, what would my day be without chocolate?
pobox867 :)

PS I'm still losing AND eating chocolate :) hehehehehe

I don't know what's wrong with me. I'm on to 'it' but I'm not doing 'it' !!! I've eaten quite well today (besides the crunchie) but I know I've over-eaten. And the friggen scales didn't quite drop this morning (after 3 hours of intensive tennis last night and 5km on the treadmill every day this week).. I weighed 87.0 first and then 86.8kg and today is weigh day. I'm quite strict with weigh day as that's my new benchmark weight for the next week and I've either lost 200 or 400 grams and I WANT TO KNOW which it is. I bet in the morning I won't have a drop and that will confirm that overall, I have had a crappy week of overeating - however the exercise level is still high. I must have had something bad today because I feel 'big' tonight. Milk? wheat? I wish I knew what it was that bloats me. I'm rambling.. but it helps to work out what works and what doesn't by writing it here.

Anyway, the more sleep I get the better my chances of a drop.. so off to bed (11.25 pm)

PS sorry if I've been a bit slack at getting to your diaries (to the wonderful people who're supporting me in mine).. I'm just so busy atm.
me xx

To help a little, maybe try increasing your protein as it helps your blood sugar level even, and try to reduce your carbs as well. Also, you realise the more exercise you do the more muscle you will gain (which is a good thing) and the weight on the scales will go up, but take body measurements as well, as these are more accurate. I will be taking my measurements on Tuesday as it will be four weeks since I stated my journey, and will be doing so once a month.

So all the best

Keep up the good work.

Oh God, I've fallen off the wagon. I had a great loss (got to 86.0kg) and have been eating anything and everything ever since.
My time management is crap at the moment and this is affecting my food and exercise. See its almost midnight, and I've spent most of the night on facebook and havent even done my marking. friggen-bloody-friggen poo bum wee.

Ha ha ha, That made me laugh! At least you still have your sense of humor! I just bought a book, "Debt Free, Cashed up & Laughing" and it is amazing! It goes through everything from saving money, time management etc, it has helped me become more time conscious and I have been able to fit more into my day. Just use the 80% rule, don't over book your day, just book 80% of it, and if you achieve this, it makes you feel awesome!!!!

I'm using Censored to lose weight, and have found I don't have any cravings!!!! You eat 6 meals a day, (each include protein) and have one free day a week, where you can eat whatever you like, this helps trick your metabolism to not become complacent. And you find that you don't want all those sugary treats, I just tell myself, I'll wait for my free day! It's been really enjoyable. I recommend it to anyone.

Hope that helps!

:)

Nita

Hiya Nita,
I NEEED to buy that book. Where did you get it? I think that 80% rule sounds WUNDERFUL. I looked up Censored but it doesn't tell me how it works.. can you tell me? okay now for my entry..

Dear Diary,
For some bizzare reason, I haven't been really really naughty with my foods, only a little bit naughty and for some BIZARRE reason, I've continued to lose. Weigh-day is tomorrow. I think that because of my exercise (Which I haven't done for 5 days now) my metabolism must be firing and so I'm naturally burning. These are my stats:

Start - 89.1
End of week 1 - 87.9 (loss of 1.2kg)
End of week 2 - 87.2 (loss of 0.7kg)
End of week 3 - 86.8 (loss of 0.4kg)
Almost end of week 4 85.9 (loss of 0.9kg)
Hooray!!!
Total loss so far 3.2kg - which doesnt seem like much but I look 100% better!
I go to NZ in about 10 days for a couple of weeks so that's gonna be a challenge to stay good while I'm there. I think I will.. hmm.
I'll be back tomorrow for my Thursday weigh-day reading. Hooray!!

Dear Me,
I've been incredibly bad. I haven't been on the treadmill. I'm kinda watching my food and then WTF? This morning I was 85.6! So I've lost SOMETHING! Now total loss is 3.5kilos in almost 5 weeks. And, I'm okay with the slow loss, cos it's regular! I really should get on the treadmill tonight but I've got no time - must work. (maybe I should just do 30min - better than nothing!)

Start - 89.1
End of week 1 - 87.9 (loss of 1.2kg)
End of week 2 - 87.2 (loss of 0.7kg)
End of week 3 - 86.8 (loss of 0.4kg)
End of week 4 - 86.0 (loss of 0.8kg)
Mid week 5 - 85.6 (so far a loss of 0.4kg)

Hooray! it's slow but its happening! I get so damned excited. And I really think that getting to my first goal of 80kg is really really in sight. I can do it!!! All I wanted to do this morning was phone someone and say I lost 400grams! They'd think I was daft plus I had no-one to phone who it would actually mean anything to.
Okay, I might do the treadmill.
