Well Starting in Sept of this year I started this long hard journey.

I took small steps at first. Cutting out all fast food, no more reg. coke went to coke zero. Now no Coke at all, except on a rare occasion and still the Zero. My portion sizes are smaller, I'm thinking as I plate up do I really need that much??Oh and I drink at least 2l of water a day now :mrgreen:

So by doing that I lost 5kg.

On October 16 I went out and bought a Wii with the wiifit plus and EA active.

Well the 1st few day was just sorta playing around on it, getting used to it. But last week I did 5 days, Mon-Fri. And at least 30m a day, tho some was a bit longer.
I know there are skeptics out there saying theres no way to loose by playin/using it. But I belive you can. I like video games. And this puts 2 things together. I like seeing me doing it plus my oldest boy cheers me on :lol: And I can wrk up a really good sweat.

Tues my legs were sooo sore. I hurt sitting standing up and down stairs.By Thurs I was fine again. So something must be right, I am currently doing the EA active 30-day challange.

Last week tho in my weigh in I put on .800. I know this was prob due to muscle being built up.

Weekends are my rest time. My partner is home and we do family things, so M-F are my days.

Funny to woke up today feeling a bit sick, cough and what not but I was determined to do my wrk out. And I did, now I feel a tiny bit better. Odd eah??

I'm just trying to decide if I should weigh in this week or start doing it fortnightly.

Well the kids are wanting lunch so I should hop to it.

Ok well I woke up today feeling better then yesturday. So big plus there!!!

So today it's back on the horse sorta speak. Going to get my wrk out in, clean the house as always and deal with my lovely spawn, oops mean my lil boys :lol:


It's pretty crap here as far as weather goes in Syd as well. So with my 4yo I plan on baking Choc.Chip peanut butter cookies. My partner needs them for wrk this week as they are having a bake-off.

So here's fighting off temptation!!!! Shouldn't be that bad. I do plan a taste test of just 1 as it's a new recipe I'm trying. Then the rest are for the boys.

Well time to get brekky sorted.

Excellent stuff, good on you! I tried doing the Wii thing, it even shakes and has impact as though you really are playing the sport!
Had my baby girl Leah on 13/12/10!

Weight at 40 weeks: 81.5kg
SW 4 days post-baby: 74.4kg
CW: 67kg

1st mini goal: 72kg - DONE!
2nd mini goal: 70kg - DONE!
3rd mini goal: 67kg - DONE!

4th mini goal: 64kg

Well today was off to a great start!!!

Did the same old crap as always washing kids blah blah.

Then it was finally sunny outside today, so being cooped up for the past few days I decided to take my monsters to the park for a picnic.

Well this morning I did a great wrk out before we left!!!!!!

I got 20mins on the WiiFit Burned about 150 Cals according to that, then did my EA active and that was about 30min more intense tho and burned around 240 cals. Tell ya the sweat was dripping today but felt good.

Then we got ready went to the park, and my pants. They seem loose :shock: I mean these pants always felt a little loose but today seemed reaaly loose. :mrgreen:
I'm so tempted to weigh everyday but no it's not good.......come on Friday!!!!

Well today is a good day so far.


Walked my lil one to preschool n back. Will have to do that walk later again as well. :D

This morning I got in an hr wrkout!!!

According to the wii stuff I burned about 450cals. Not bad.

Tomorrow I weigh in. :| I bloody hope I see something go down.

Anyways baby up.....

Well have to say my week was well.
I made it 2 weeks in a row now of 5days in a row wrkin out, Mon-Fri at least 30mins a day.
And to top it off a 1.5kg drop :mrgreen: :mrgreen:

With measurements too I've lost a total 18cms from all over!!
-2 chest
-2 boobline
-4 waist
-5 around the belly
-2 off my Right arm ( left stayed the same but I have erbs palsy on my right so ya long story)
-3 thighs

So all in all very happy with myself :P
Might be a tiny bit bad and have a Laksa on the weekend with a coke zero :D

I'm glad you're enjoying your wii fit, and it seems to be paying off for you! You've lost a lot of cms in not so long, so you must be doing something right! Keep it up!

Well the weekend,

My 2 days rest, as much rest as I can with kids.

I'm still behaving with my eating so all's good.

Tomorrow I get back into it. Tho this week is gonna be odd. Monday I'm goin to Tea with a friend in the morning, and Tuesday have this guy who's gonna be replacing my railing on the balcony outside. Hes gonna be here at 8-8:30 in the morn. I usally do my routine at 10ish. Going to have to change it for those days to the avro.

I really don't want this guy seeing me jump around my place to my wii stuff :lol:

I'm really having a hard time deciding when to weigh in as well.
Should I do every week or once a fortnight?? I just don't want to be obsessed with the weight and not see anything and get down KWIM??


Ummmm ewwww smelly bum.

Thnx for that I think I will weigh in every Friday.

Yesturday went well despit the heat at 37 :shock: I still did my wrkout for 40m.

Tho was a lil hungrier then normal in the avro and wanted a nap. I think that good ol' monthly friend might be making an apperance soon.

Was thinkin of taking the boys to the park but looks a bit overcast atm, so still tossing that up. It is only 7am too lol so have plenty of time to clear up.

If I can keep this up through till xmas I'm goin to ask for a good set of resistance bands or tubing for a prezzie and the More EA active. This whole wii things seems to be working well. YAY!!!!

Well weigh day was today........

Nothing lost scales stayed the same. But on the up side nothing gained either and 11cm's lost over my body. So still happy.Plus with a certain friend that likes to visit.......I hear that makes a difference as well.

The other day I polished off my excerise bike as well. I'm starting to add this into the mix as well even if it's just 10m to start.........the seat is really uncomfy makes my bum go numb :oops:


This is the end of week 3!!!

I have now done a work out mon-fri for the past 3 weeks!!!!! Very happy with myself :mrgreen: :mrgreen: :mrgreen: :mrgreen:

Well my weekend was pretty calm. Nothing exciting.

Sunday tho the boys wanted Maccas so we had that for lunch. And well proud to say I had the lesser of all evil's there, I had the Chick Ceasar salad. :mrgreen:

I also think this was AF's doing but wanted to have a nap Sunday as well. Instead tho I jumped on my excerise bike and went for 30mins with my Ipod on. Very happy with that.

I'm trying to find resistance bands as well.

I've also started week #4 for workouts!!! Yesturday was good.

Now let's hope Friday the scales will be better this week, w/o that monthly visitor hangin around. :lol:
