Well this week I put on again - that is now 3 weigh-ins in a row! I know it was Easter, I know I was spending time with family... but I have to stop making excuses. This week I weighed in at 99.3 and I will not allow myself to slip back into triple figures! I am going to be good this week, someone please kick me up the butt and tell me how stupid I'm being.

I was avoiding changing my ticker but I will change it this week, hopefully seeing the figure on there everyday will help me to realise that I need to maintain focus.

Date Started Weight Loss Journey: 04/01/05
SW: 112.9
GW: 67
CW: 99.3
Loss this week: +0.6 kg
Loss to Date: 13.6 kg

My next few goals and how far to go:

Being under 95kg: 94.9kg, 18kg lost (4.4kg to go)
20kg total lost: 92.9kg, 20kg lost (6.4kg to go)
Having a BMI that indicates I'm overweight instead of obese: 80.5kg, 32.4kg lost (18.8 kg to go)
Cheers,
Kate

Hi there Kate!

Just popping by to say hello. I'm ready to kick some butt if you really want me to!!!

Easter is over. Time to throw out or donate all of those leftover Easter eggs and start fresh. Like you said, the last thing you want is to be in double digits again.

There is no better feeling than when you are eating well and exercising regularly. That loss on the scales is just an additional bonus!

I know what you are going through (*Looks at where her own ticker use to be*) - but it's time to get real. Putting it off only makes the situation worse. HOWEVER - this journey is about progress... not perfection.

You can do this. Believe in yourself. But ultimately you need to want it for you.

Best wishes,
Lauren.

Thanks Lauren - yes I do need a kick in the butt. Mostly for being so stupid and allowing myself to put back on 18kg!

But... rather than dwell on that, I'm back on my journey to get back to my lowest point and then continue on through to goal.

Today started off well and I resisted the temptation to eat some lollies after lunch (the number 99.3 just kept flashing in my head). I also had hockey training tonight, so plenty of exercise. I think my water intake was a little low though and will make sure I have my 2L tomorrow.
Cheers,
Kate

Hey Kate!
I cant count how many times i wanted a great big kick up the backside myself!! :D :D
Then i just realise that i just need to keep at it....too often i wanted the "quick fix" option...now i realise that that is not sustainable
and i just need to pick up and get going!!
So basically im saying that you CAN do it....especially if i can!!! :D :D
have a great week!!

Thanks Tam - I def need butt kicking. I have eaten pretty well all this week, yesterday I had a few naughty things but I was out shopping with the girls and we walked around for at least 3/4 hours so that must have helped some of it! And then today I've done 3 hours of housework (according to calorieking that's 600 cals burnt!).

I'm just hoping I get the pay-off on the scales on Tues when I weigh-in. How did your move go? I bet you burnt some cals with all that lifting, packing etc.
Cheers,
Kate

Ok well thanks for the butt kicking guys and the motivation! I have been very good this week and it showed up on the scales! :D Although I did weigh in at home on Sunday and it showed that the scales hadn't moved, luckily for me I chose to ignore it and believe in the fact that if I continued to be good then the results would show (I was tempted to throw in the towel and eat bad stuff, but yay me for not doing that!).

Thanks for your messages EWQ, Dave & Rose. I do feel like I'm more on track these days!

However... this week I did put on 200g. I'm not unhappy with that... I had a big weekend with a 30th birthday and a romantic dinner out with hubby. I still put in the yards with exercise and watching my foods through the rest of the week so I'm actually proud that I did that otherwise the gain may have been much more! Going to stick with tracking the cals on calorieking this week and exercising so that next week I can be in the 97 range.

Date Started Weight Loss Journey: 04/01/05
SW: 112.9
GW: 67
CW: 98.4
Loss this week: +0.2 kg
Loss to Date: 14.5 kg

My next few goals and how far to go:

Being under 95kg: 94.9kg, 18kg lost (3.5kg to go)
20kg total lost: 92.9kg, 20kg lost (5.5kg to go)
Having a BMI that indicates I'm overweight instead of obese: 80.5kg, 32.4kg lost (17.9 kg to go)

200g isn't much of a gain. Good on your for increasing your exercise and eating well during the rest of the week.

You're doing very well! :)

Ok so recently I've been an active observer of everyone else's weight loss on this forum but not really doing much myself! I've also recently received news that I have 2 big events coming up towards the end of the year and I have decided that I need to be more serious with myself and work toward those events and getting back down to healthier weights.

The first event is at the beginning of Oct when I will be bridesmaid for one of my mates. So I have set myself a target of 12kg lost (weight of 86.2) by then. It's 23 weeks till then and I have decided to be realistic about my goals. If I end up losing more than 12kg then that's fantastic and I can reassess as we get further down the track.

The second event is at the beginning of Dec when I go to Cambodia with my school. I have set myself a target of 17kg lost (weight of 81.2) by then. It's 33 weeks till then and again I'm being realistic and giving myself a loss of 500g per week.

Date Started Weight Loss Journey: 04/01/05
SW: 112.9
GW: 67
CW: 98.2
Loss this week: 0.2 kg
Loss to Date: 14.7 kg

My next few goals and how far to go:

Being under 95kg: 94.9kg, 18kg lost (3.3kg to go)
20kg total lost: 92.9kg, 20kg lost (5.3kg to go)
Having a BMI that indicates I'm overweight instead of obese: 80.5kg, 32.4kg lost (17.7 kg to go)

Kate

Good on you for jumping back in there, Kate! I'm sure you'll achieve your weight loss goals in the timeframe you've given. You've done so well so far! Losing 14.7kg so far proves you can do it. Good luck for the next week!
