I thought seeing as starting Wednesday I will be starting an Optifast diet for 2 weeks I would share what I go through.
And yes I do know that the shake diet is not the way to loose weight, but I am doing this as per my Dr's orders for my upcoming OP. Then will go back to how I was losing to begin with.
So I need to have 3 Optifast meals a day. I am going to have a shake in the morning, a bar for lunch. I am allowed 2 cups of veggies a day as long as they are not the starchy type. So Diner will be the Vegs and Dessert.
I am also allowed as much lite jelly as I want to help curb hunger, so I have some of this on hand. I also have sugar free lollies, gum and mints. These are to have while I get my kids food done and I am not tempted to nibble.
I still will try to exercise but will keep it at light, as I will be on about 900 cals a day with no carbs.
Wednesday Morning I will weigh in and record a starting weight.
This should be interesting I have heard ppl can lose a bit in the 1st few weeks.
