.... or welcome back? :cry:

Okay, as I mentioned in my introducing thread, here is my daily progress;

19/3 118.4kg
20/3 117.6kg
21/3 117.0kg
22/3 117.0kg
23/3 116.6kg
24/3 116.2kg
25/3 115.6kg
26/3 115.1kg
27/3 115.1kg
28/3 114.8kg
29/3 115.4kg
30/3 115.4kg
31/3 115.4kg grrr, again it didn't move. Must have been the one krispy kreme I had yesterday after my job interview. I couldn't drive pass without stopping.

All day I was resilient to all sort of eating fantasies until now; another krispy creme....... I will see the outcome tomorrow, in fact I see the outcome of ALL krispy kreme's of my life in the mirror right now! :evil:

WOW your progress looks excellent!!
You have lost 3kilos since Mar 19? Well done
Personally I cannot weigh each day as I get a little obsessive and self critical, but looks like you are losing well!
Keep it up!

Hi Potbelly, and welcome :)

Congratulations on losing 3kgs already, that is a huge loss! Don't feel too bad about the scales not moving, it is normal for our bodies to fluctuate daily. If you focus too much on the daily numbers, it can really get to you and become frustrating if you feel that you aren't losing weight at a fast enough rate. I too weigh myself on a daily basis (I'm a scales addict!), but I don't pay too much attention to the daily fluctuations. I pick one day a week, and use that as my "official" weigh in day. In the past, I found it highly annoying when I had been healthy and exercised... and then the scales showed a "gain". It would totally derail my motivation, but the reality was that it was just normal fluctuations. For example, eating a bigger meal than usual one day, retaining fluid etc...

I use Monday as my official weigh in day. If I see losses during the week, I use them to motivate me further. If I see small gains, I try to just ignore them for the week, and usually by Monday I am able to record a loss overall. Don't let them get to you, chances are, they will be gone by your official weigh in :) Blah, sorry I'm rambling on a bit and not being particularly coherrent, it's been a long day, lol.

All the best with your weightloss!

Hi,
thank you guys for your motivating words. And it did help because I lost even more;
01/4 114.8kg the Donut from the previous day didn't harm,... yeah.......
02/4 114.4kg I have Assignments to do for Uni, I am very nervous. Accordingly, I am eating salty yummy pretzels, I wonder about the outcome

Outcome from Salty Pretzels were not as bad as I thought it would be;

03/4 114.4kg (so no loss but better still no gain either)
04/4 114.4kg (because I had a big pot of coffee already before I weighed in) so in effect it should be like 0.4kg less. Today is family day with lunch. Hopefully no gain either.......
:wink:

So far I lost 4.6kg in 17 days.
Some more stats:

Fat: -1.4%
Percentage Weight Loss: -3.9% (i.e. 3.9% less me)

Average change per day: -0.3kg
Req'd future change per day: -0.2kg
