Hi Potbelly, and welcome

Congratulations on losing 3kgs already, that is a huge loss! Don't feel too bad about the scales not moving, it is normal for our bodies to fluctuate daily. If you focus too much on the daily numbers, it can really get to you and become frustrating if you feel that you aren't losing weight at a fast enough rate. I too weigh myself on a daily basis (I'm a scales addict!), but I don't pay too much attention to the daily fluctuations. I pick one day a week, and use that as my "official" weigh in day. In the past, I found it highly annoying when I had been healthy and exercised... and then the scales showed a "gain". It would totally derail my motivation, but the reality was that it was just normal fluctuations. For example, eating a bigger meal than usual one day, retaining fluid etc...
I use Monday as my official weigh in day. If I see losses during the week, I use them to motivate me further. If I see small gains, I try to just ignore them for the week, and usually by Monday I am able to record a loss overall. Don't let them get to you, chances are, they will be gone by your official weigh in

Blah, sorry I'm rambling on a bit and not being particularly coherrent, it's been a long day, lol.
All the best with your weightloss!
