Haven't updated for a while...
Finished my first script of Duromine last friday and didn't get the chance to go back to my doctor until yesterday after I finished work. Dr weighed me and said I'd lost 6kg (it's actually a little more than that, but it was the end of the day, I was full of water and wearing my heavy-ish work clothes). He was happy with my progress and gave me another month of the Duromine 30mg.
I was pretty happy I was able to maintain my weight for the 4 days that I was going without Duromine, especially since on sunday was my Nephew's 2nd b'day and lots of bad food was consumed
My doctor is a little strange. He measured my waist and said it hadn't changed much, yet all my pants are getting really loose on me now (my wife even asked me when I was planning on getting new pants). He also said that my goal weight should be under 76kg, which I also don't think is right. Last time I was under 80kg I looked sickly thin... but we'll see. Right now I'm focussing to getting below 90kg.
I've been clearing some room in my house recently so that I can buy a workout bench and actually have the space to use it. I've always had weak upper-body strength so need to work on that. Walking, running and using the cross-trainer are great for losing weight and strengthening my legs (I've always had big legs... so does my dad and I can see my 2 year old son has them too) but I need more work on my upper body.
If anyone can recommend any good upperbody workouts apart from pushups and barbell lifting it would be helpful
