So I was wiped after the bball game last night--I was playing as a first-timer in an experienced division. I could have smacked my friend! Hopefully some practice will see me improve.
Today was better; worked and then took the dogs to Clontarf for 1.5 hours, some gentle exercise after last night! Then I nicked off to the gym for an hour this arvo: did 35 mins of cardio, and another 20 on the machines (focusing on traps/biceps/triceps). I missed my pilates class, bah. I definitely won't be missing the boxing class tomorrow! Also took the dogs for another quick walk when I got home.
Food was okay-ish. Toast for breakfast, couple sandwiches during work, sushi in the afternoon, and some lasagne for dinner. TOO MUCH CARBS! I need to eat more fish, and less bread. Seriously. Drank 2litres of water.
I'm thinking once I drop the first 5 kilos, I'll get a tattoo I've been wanting for a while. When I reach 15, I'll get the one I've planned for years. Still trying to think of things to reward myself--I'm not much of a material person.
I'm going to do some more research on meal ideas and portion control. I'm glad I decided to lose weight this way, because I feel like I'm learning invaluable information.
