Just to explain to everyone, I've deleted the spam posts preceding Sanov's post. Just in case you were wondering why the topic suddenly jumped to premature ejaculation!

Well last night I managed not to have anything after dinner. I'm thinking posting on here before dinner and declaring that that is all I have eaten fr the day helps me not want to have to add to it. So that looks t be my new strategy.

So today
muesli
banana, fruit salad and leftover spinach pie
salad, sandwich and 10? choc raspberries
I have bean tacos on the stove as we speak

AND THEN NO MORE TO EAT :D

I think you're doing brilliantly, Tegan. Little plateaus are to be expected. Look at the amazing amount of exercise you're doing and how healthy you're eating! Celebrate your victories!

How is the thesis going? Or shouldn't I ask? If you ever need to vent about it feel free to PM me. Writing a thesis is such a gruelling process. Personally I think it's way harder than weight loss, and that's saying something!

Thesis is currently with my supervisor mid final draft review, so kinda in no-mans'-land at the moment.

As for my eating etc this week has been atrocious. I can't believe I haven't logged on here all week!!!! I have to fix that because posting here regularly definitely seems to keep me on track. This coming week I'm recording a written food and exercise diary for my booty person who I'm going to see for a one off consult about my food stuff so I'll have to be a bit more disciplined with recording stuff. I just find at the moment with the different things my week is split into that it's just like moving from one thing to the next, really hard to settle in to a routine, and I'm someone who likes routine! So I'm feeling very unsettled :(

Well, let's start afresh shall we and since I can't remember (and don't want to) the previous week's food n stuff, we'll go from today shall we?

So
7:00 muesli for breakky
7:30 ride to work (about 30min)
9:30 3 dried apricots, 8-10 almonds
11:00 1.5c fruit salad
12:30 leftover spaghetti
1:00 Magnum Gold Icecream
3:00 2 biscuits
6:30 ride home
8:30 - will be when dinner is ready. Hubby has put on some jacket potatoes, but I'm not particularly hungry so will only have a half of one I think.

And I will NOT be having anything after dinner.

Oh, and I think I might post an ad for a regular member just to check in on my progress thread and send me an e-mail or text to kick my butt if I haven't posted!

I'll keep you honest! I'm always up for a bit of butt-kicking  . It'll give me good practice at being a nagging mum!

Overall I think you did really well! I mean, yeah, maybe the Magnum Gold wasn't the best of ideas but if you're finding you're craving something sweet after lunch is there something you could substitute that would be better for you?

You're on Ali! I'll PM you my e-mail addy's!

As for replacing the icecream, it's not so much that I felt like it, more that it was there

LOL. Ah yes, the Mount Everest excuse "because it's there" . Do you have Internet access where you work? This is a tip I used to help me make healthy choices whenever I was hungry while working at uni: before you eat anything look it up on Calorie King first. You'd be amazed at how unappealing some foods are once you look them up! It was also an excellent way of choosing what to have for lunch when you have a couple of options and you're not sure which will be the best choice for weight loss.
