Ok, so have done my introduction and have been reading all about everyones progress. Now its time to really start my new life
I started my weight loss journey after I had my son, well, he was about 8 months old at the time. The only reason why it took me so long to start after he was born was because of medical issues, which at that stage they were still there, but I decided not to let it stop me and it didnt. You dont need to be in peek condition to eat properly, and while my legs were working I was going to use them! So I went from 98kg to 71kg in about 2 years, but this year got back to 80kg and now sitting somewhere around 75kg (keep going up and down)
So am working on getting to 65kg by the end of the year which is achievable if I put my mind to it. I will be getting back into my walking and once my son is back at daycare I will start running again (which I can do these days). I am not going to let anything stop me anymore, it used to be medical reasons but now I dont have them so keep finding lame excuses! NO MORE!
Tomorrow morning I will be up at 6am and the 2 of us will be going for a 4km walk. Am planning on increasing the distance but will start with that. I cant do a lot with my diet just yet because Im on the last few days before payday lol, so its what I have in the cupboard, which is not all bad, do have plenty of veggies, but not a lot of fruit so when it comes to snacking I will have issues! So I just want to do the best I can given what I do have.
I think my biggest problem is motivation, when I am motivated I do really well, but I get lazy, things get me down and I just cant be bothered, its when I get like that that I just want to eat. I am working on changing those habbits until I learn to remain motivated all the time! Am motivated at the moment which is good, which means today has been a really good day so far
Just have to work out what Im cooking for dinner...
