Well I can safely say I've hit and maintained 73kgs for the past week :D This is the lightest I've been since > 2010. So definitely happy with that - 73 was kind of a mini goal for me. Now just have to maintain it for a few weeks than start pushing for my next mini goal - 68kgs - and trust me, there will be a party then!

Exercise wise I have been quite slack lately, and thats an area I really want to push, however food wise I'e been eating lower carb and watching portion sizes (or trying to, anyway!).

Just a quick note to say I'm still going well @ 73. Scales were a little higher today but I'm about to hit TTOTM so i'm not concerned.

Another .5kg this week, takes me to 72.5kg :)

Still not really incorporating much exercise, which I think is my biggest problem. Just don't think much of it during the day to day grind, and the few times I've organised something in advance, stuff has always butted in and my plans have fallen through. Yes I have to admit its an excuse!

Weight is drifting down towards 72kgs this week, however will leave the ticker at 72.5 for the moment as I don't feel I'm really there yet :)

I have to say, I'm really quite happy with my weigh loss over the past month or so. Personally I feel like there is a big difference in how my clothes have been fitting. Its funny, I feel a bigger difference now from 75kgs to 72.5kgs then I did from 80 kgs to 75kgs. I tried on a few of my 'skinny' clothes during the week, and although they were tight and I wouldn't wear them outside the house, they did actually do up.

Anyway, I still have a long way to go. Speaking of which, I have been toying with the idea of changing my goal weight from 62kgs to maybe 64-65kgs. I'm just concerned that it won't give me a lot of leeway between my maintained weight and the upper limit of my healthy BMI (which is 67kgs). I guess there isn't too much point in obsessing over it at the moment, just have to see how I feel when I actually hit the 60's.

So thats it from me for this week! Definitely confidant that if I behave this week I'll be 72kgs by next weekend

Well i've adjusted my ticker down to 71.5kgs this week :D I was pretty much down to 72kgs last weekend but for some reason I feel a bit funny about my current good weightloss progress and am worrried about jinxing myself... or something. Anyway I'm sitting between 71-71.5 at the moment. Hopefully another .5kgs this week! :) Despite doing well i actually feel/felt quite 'fat' today. Bizarre how it all works hey :?:

Forgot to post last week, however not a lot to report anyway! Still sitting on 71-71.5 for the 3rd week running.

Anyway, eating was quite bad last 2 weeks, have had a mini binge on sweets and birthday cakes etc. I think the cupboards have been cleaned out now though :) So trying to get back to my low sugar higher protein diet again, was feeling really good oon that for awhile there.

Also been going on lots of walks! I think this has evened out the sweet binge I was on so I was fortunate not to put on weight there. Daylight savings ending is a little bit of a bugger though!

I did up a graph of my weightloss the other day (was rather bored at work  ) want to try to insert it but dont know how?

Hi airly

Regarding the graph. Convert it to a jpg or gif image then host it on a free image hosting service such as Photobucket or your website space at your ISP (many Internet accounts have a small website area to play with). Then, once the image is hosted and accessible, create a new forum message and insert a link to the hosted image.

Next time you have a cupboard with naughty foods in it, bin them or give them away to other people - A sugar-binge can be a real problem once it starts and wants continual feeding.
Striving to improve in every way possible.

Hello forum :) Sooooo nice to be back again! Missed this place during the downtime!

Thanks for the post Cronic :) The graph probably isnt that interesting to others anyway :) I definitely reccommend doing one though, for those of you with basic excel skills - makes it a lot easier to see the plateus etc then just looking at the figures.

Also, you are spot on regarding the sugar monster. I've STILL not really kicked it again, although it is under control...somewhat. I've found that once I'd stopped eating sweet things altogether (i mean breads and refined sugar, not fruit etc) I never really felt like it - or felt that ravenous hunger either. Once you get onboard the train again though its hard to get back off!

Anyway, happy to report that I'm 'officially' down to 71kgs finally! :D Actually sitting on 70.5kgs, but we'll see how I go over the weekend and I might update again Monday if it looks like its sticking :)

Officially at 70.5 :) Weighed myself @ 69-69.5kgs  this morning!!! But I think that was just morning, 'pre food and drink etc' weight

Exercise has been a bit meh (all this rainy weather!) and foods pretty good overall, although had pasta tonight and last night (small serves - bf was cooking as I worked late both days, very few things he can manage in the kitchen  )

Hope anyone reading this is well, gosh aren't these forums dead at the moment? Where is everyone??

Long time no see, forum! :)

Haven't logged on in such a long time :) Anyway, since last time on here I've lost a whooping *drumroll*.... .5kg! LOL a very slow 2 months. However hoping to get down another .5kg this week to finally get me in the 60's. i'm a little embarrassed about how long its been since I started and how slowly I am losing.

Not really even trying with food at the moment, easily maintaining my current weight, and still going for a few walks a week but no other exercise at the moment.

Despite my lack of loss in the kgs department I think I have trimmed down slightly in cms. Am enjoying being a size 10-12 again (I can fit in to size 10s :D but not always comfortably...).

Thanks skinnybride2be :) i hope your going well

Happy to report that im now @ 68.5kgs :D So definitely not losing quickly, however am finding it really easy at the moment to maintain (and lose the timy amounts im losing)

Basically just not eating too badly, pretty much not counting calories etc but avoiding binges, not baking desserts (but eating ice cream etc sometimes) and so on. Exercise is just my twice a week or so walks that i enjoy. So easy!

Although its only been a kg or so in the last few months, it has definitely been a noticeable kilo, which confirms my theory that as you get closer t goal you lose less but it counts more (in my first week - i was on light n easy - i lost 1.5-2kgs, and the difference was barely noticeable, whereas now that would be amazing!).

Only 6.5kgs to goal, which seems tantalisingly close but realistically i'm going to have to start being more careful with eating and exercise to get there, as currently im really just maintaining. Although i am definitely comfortable with myself now, I would really like to get down to 62kgs still, but finding the motivation is the tricky part!!
