So officially 68 kgs! I was so inspired this week, I was actually coming in under 68kgs on Friday (maybe as low as 67kgs!) but i totally derailed over the weekend. Anyway, 68kgs is nice and I am happy with that for the moment :)

Hopeing to get back on track now and head for 67kgs for real!

Just can't muster any motivation at the moment! :( Am still sitting on 68kgs... Hoping to get myself in gear! Had wanted to get down to 65kgs by 2012 but it looks unlikely now without a big kick up the backside!

I just read your whole journey and I must say a huge congratulations!! You have come soo far and are doing a fantastic job. Just reading it makes me continue as I was having a few blah days.

You are almost there... just continue to look forward and just think about how much you have achieved. I wish you luck for your last few kilo's (I'm sure you wont need it though) :D

Thanks a lot for your msg boonaz! :) I'm so flattered that someone would find my weightloss journey inspiring, and a little confused too as I dont feel like i'm a particular success at it. But if its helped you then its an unexpected but very welcome side effect to updating this boring little blog!! I hope your week has been good.

On the weightloss front, I'm scraping in at just under 68kgs now. Not quite 67.5kgs yet though! But pretty close... I haven't been walking over the last few weeks but eating wise ok despite my boyfriend and i getting fast food and eating out 4 times last week! (and halloween when i gorged on lollies... brought a heap in the expectation that we might have trick or treaters, but didnt have even one!!)

Other than a few social functions I've been pretty good this past week or so. I've definitely been feeling a bit more motivated again! I'm going to try to knuckle down while the mood lasts, a bit of a self challenge til 2012 :) My dream goal is to get to 65kg by the first week of 2012, which would be AMAZING!!! But I lose verrrryyy slowly so although 2.5 kgs isnt much at all, its quite a tall order for me to pull off in 5-6 weeks. Anyway, I'll be pleased to enter the new year with good food and exercise habits :)

Yay for increased motivation! Keep up the good work while it lasts, it makes it so much easier. I feel the same as you - I go through stages where I'm so motivated, and then it just goes and it's so hard to stay on track. Christmas time is the perfect time to take advantage of it :) Good luck with your goal!

Well I did get down to 67 kgs briefly - not sure if I can still say that though after last weeks binge. Went out drinking last week and got blotto for the first time in a LONG time, and things spiralled downhill from there.

Weighed in at 68 - 68.5 last night, but its hard to know if thats the true weight or because of all the water (its been warm) and pms. HOPING that things aren't so bad when i weigh myself after TTOTM.

Anyway, most of the sweets and chrissy foods have been eaten now, so can only go on from here.

Still, 8 kgs or so less then this time last year!

Thanks Miss Viva!!!!

Finally off TTOTM and the weather in melb is quite moderate, so I decided to face the scales again today. (I hadn't been on since the start of the week, and then I had been on 69-70 kgs).

I was terrified of what they were going to say, but happily they were back on 67.5kgs. Very relieved. Not that a few kgs is a big deal, but at the rate im currently going I lose .5kg a month, and the thought of going up and having to re do the last few months had me almost in tears.

Thanks Babylove! Yup, officially 5.5kgs to my goal of 62 kgs :D

When I say it like that it seems like nothing! Just the work of a few short months. But it feels like this huge amount, I lose weight very slowly and am struggling to maintain momentum. The good news is that I've had no problems (at least over the past year) maintaining the weightloss thus far.

Mentally I'm a lot happier with myself then i was a year ago, but its hard to put it in perspective. I remember when i got to 73kgs i felt GREAT. Now i'm 67.5kgs and when i was out on the weekend i felt as self conscious as ever. Plus my friends are all gorgeous! So inevitably i can't help but compare myself to them. Which i KNOW is stupid, but...

Anyway, TRYING HARD to keep the ball moving. I feel motivated while im on this site - too bad i can't be on here 24/7 hehe.

Im weighing in at 67.5 to 68 kgs this week. Finally took my measurements. Am going to try to do this once a month (after my TTOTM, to keep things equal). Hopefully then I'm not totally relying on the scales. :)
Bust - 38 inch
Waist - 30 inch
Hips - 40 inch

Should really so top of arms and thighs too. Oh well, maybe when I get home

airly- sounds like a perfect hourglass shape. im envious  !!!

dont compare to friends honestly everyone has different height weight activity levels. theres always someone who will look 'better' than us! you should enjoy being the weight you are now its awesome and maintaining it there means your body is happy and healthy.

The last 5 kg is always the hardest. Do you think you could have a mental hurdle stopping you from arriving at your goal weight? What other things motivate you besides coming here for support?

I thought of sticking a bikini photo of me from 2005 on my cupboard door. However cant find the dang piccy!!!
