My censored Journey

Postby saharalily » Mon Dec 06, 2010 3:15 pm

Last week I ordered the censored kit. It finally arrived today.
As I need to start the 3 day detox, I am starting tomorrow. But as not to waste today, I am using it to read all the info and watch the dvd's.

So as of tomorrow, I will be posting in here every night, keeping anyone interested in my journey, up-to-date.

Thanks for reading & here it to a lighter future :)

Good luck! :D
I'll be interested in seeing how it goes .. I was never quite sure what was involved in it.

Thank you :)

Well a quick rundown now I have gone through the info quickly...
I start tomorrow ( a 3 day detox) during this time u can only eat protien. 6 times a day. Brekky, snack, lunch, snack, dinner, snack.

Then from day 4 u can slowly introduce carbs in small doses, increasing as the days go on.

It's basically an eating plan/lifestyle.
Not really a diet, definately not a meal replacement or suppliment type thing.
You can read more about it on www.censored.com.au

Will keep this thread updated with my progress

Morning all,

Well I started my detox phase this morning.
I did a quick weigh-in eventhough my weigh-in day is normally a Friday. I am 62kgs! Arrgghh. :(

Instead of my usual coffee I had a protein shake.
OMG!! I gagged and spluttered all the way through it, eventually got it all down. Tomorrow I think I will get up earlier and make scrambled egg whites!

I am heading to work, I am a little unsure of how I will get all 6 protein meals/snacks into my day.
I have some protein bars for snacks at work. Lunch I am not so sure of!
I will have to put in a little effort tomorrow in prep for the day ahead.

I am hoping it gets a little easier as so far this seems to be the longest 3 days ever and it's only just begun!

Have a great day all :)

some protein shakes I have had before are absolutely horrible... so I can understand what you went through...
Currently I am using a brand call Max's (Australian Body building suppliment Co.) and Im using the WPC (Whey Protein Concentrate) and it has a thicker texture, and doesnt get digested as quickly, so it will keep you feeling full too. Each serve with milk is only approx 300calories, and its low in carb as well. Taste pretty good too... sort of like a rich thick chocolate shake.

good luck with it :)

Pain is temporary. It may last a minute, or an hour, or a day, or a year, but eventually it will subside and something else will take its place. If I quit, however, it lasts forever. ~Lance Armstrong

Hey everyone.

Sorry I haven't been in to update lately, I have been a bit busy with work, kids and xmas lol

Well last Tuesday I started the 3 day detox - I lasted to 9pm and ate pizza.
Feeling very disappointed with myself, I vowed tomorrow was a fresh start.

I did all my 3+3, 10,000 steps and 2lt water.
I had to go to a wedding rehearsal, again 9pm, I caved and had a skinny latte + a cupcake!
I know, I know, I need dicipline :(

Well today I have started off on the right foot.
I missed weigh-in on Monday so I did it today and BAM! 1 kilo down.
By rights it should be more but I have been naughty lol
So I am still pretty chuffed with myself :)

I have work tonight so hopefully it all goes well at dinner time hmmm
Seems late night around 9pm is my downfall.

I have done little to no walking/exercise as I have been too busy as still manage to get my 10,000 steps, so I am doing alright there.

Hope everyone is still going great with their journeys.
Catch up next update!
Take Care,
Bekki :)

I don't know what it is, but I just can't shake the 9pm munchies lol

Here to the challenge! Hopefully I can break it :)

Afternoon All,

I have not been as "to the letter" as I probably should have been but I am seeing results.

I have been doing both weighing on the scales and taking my measurements.

To date: 5 days precisly since getting serious, these are my current stats:

Total weight lost: 1.5kgs (now by my calculations, I have actually lost 3.5kgs. But day 2 I weighed in at +2kgs for the week after loosing 0.5kgs, I don't know what happened there)

Waist: -16cm! (yay me)
Hips: -7cm
Thigh: -4cm

So my conclusion is that I am really only needing to lose a small amount of weight and wanting to tone up my body. If I concentrate on my measurements rather then my scales, the excess weight will come of while exercise/toning and eating right. I think!

I am feeling really icky though and lethargic, I am hoping this stops soon!
All in all I am happy with myself and glad I passed detox after my 2 false starts!
