Cazza's Journey

Postby cazza36 » Wed Dec 15, 2010 9:06 am

Well I thought I'd start writing about my progress. I have been trying to lose the last 5 kilos for ages now. Stick to a diet for a few days then eat to much and the cycle starts again.

I have managed to lose 2.6kgms in the last two months but would like to speed up my weight loss to 1kg a week.

I am currently 64 kgs but would like to get to 58. Hopefully by the end of January 2011.

Well for today I am going to eat below my recommended 1200 calories a day. I use calorie king.

I will be happy if i get just on or below 63kgms this week.

Looking forward to getting rid of my fat tummy.

I could be wrong, but I think exercises would be the best strategy for losing the fat from the tummy. Don't allow yourself to get sucked into the starvation thing, you won't be doing yourself any favours.
Just eat sensibly, and do toning exercises - the rest will follow.

All the best

Well day 2 of my progress. It's storming here in Canberra which is nice, although it would be nice to see some summer weather

I didn't eat that well yesterday had a pork schnitzel for dinner which put my calories up to 1500. I should only be eating 1200.

Plan for today eating wise is
banana for breakfast
ceasar salad without dressing for lunch
dinner yet to be decided.

Christmas is a hard time to lose weight but i will do it.

Did body circuit at the gym yesterday and today i will do about 40 minutes cardio at the gym mix of treadmill, eliptical and bike. I can't go to the gym tomorrow since i have a christmas party.

I haven't even done my xmas shopping yet. Very slack. Hoping to get into the 62's by the end of this week.

Well fell off the wagon for a couple of days and managed to put on 2 kgms. What the???

Back on the wagon this week and hoping to get back down to where I was. Sick of yo yoing just want to lose.

Only got myself to blame for the lack of losses. Back to the gym today to burn some calories.

i think the only way to stop yo-yoing is to make things fun, and routine.

if you incorparate something like exercise into the daily routine, then you feel lost if you dont do it!

i heard it takes 28days to make a habit, so as long as you stick to the "wagon" for a month then you should have yourself a habit!

Well my weight has dropped back down and even had a loss of 500gms. so I'm 63.5kg today. Hoping to drop down to 62s by the weekend.

Thanks for the great advice Dearne. I agree that I need to make the exercise more fun.

I'm going to the gym today to do body circuit. Which I enjoy.

Got to keep the xmas eating in check. I refuse to over indulge this year.
