Postby fiona » Thu Nov 02, 2006 3:09 pm

I weighed in today. oh dear, the scales said what i knew they would, a gain of .3. Have been pretty bad lately, got a bit sick of dieting and went slightly haywire with my eating.
OK, TURN AROUND TIME.

I have posted my challenge to weigh at least 5-6 kilos lighter by Christmas
I WILL BE STRONG

Goal weight: 58 kilos

progress to date

Postby fiona » Sat Nov 04, 2006 7:54 pm

Went back on TF the last couple of days. havent had a bad snack attack yet which is good. went a 7ks walk (in the rain!) on thursday and had another slightly smaller walk today as i had the girls with me.
I reckon i can reach my goal by Christmas!!!
Saw 3 snakes at the lake today, girls were not too scared. I've never seen them before this, and i go there every Tuesday!
They were black with brown bellies. how exciting.
see ya later

Stay focused Fiona and you will get there...be single minded and mentally stomp those naughty food thoughts if they appear.

Today i did not toooooo bad. had my 2 litres of water before lunch time. started off with my TF shake. Lunch was vegie stirfry yum yum, afternoon tea was a chocky treat and a skim milk fruit pop and tea was vegies and tuna, very spicy
THENNNN DH brought home chips!!!!! OH DEAR. the smell was just tooooooo much. i had some and a dim sim too  Kept up the water though.
My exercise was the gardening. Weeded the back garden, then did all the edging round the front with a spade and weeded the entire front garden as well. Pulled out barrow loads of nastursiums (Can't spell) and cleaned up after myself as well. The place looks quite decent now
Back on the wagon tomorrow. Have left over vegies to take to work with me and will have a shake for dinner.
Thanks for letting me rant a bit! see ya

Rant away Fiona....it is always good to get things off your chest!! Just take one day at a time mate and dont be too hard on yourself. Use this as a learning curve and resolve to try a different tactic next time you are surrounded by tempting foods!! Keep up the great work!!

My family is the same the bring home hot chips all the time . we live 100m from a takeaway store . My mind set is i think of them like poison . My family laugh when i say ewww poison (like weedkiller or someting ) it kinda helps me through although the smell wafting through the house is bad
