Hi Fiona sorry to hear about your friends son and the funeral must have been very difficult.

Glad to see you are still here and holding together not to mention kicking that weight in the pants. Keep up the great work. *hugs*

Postby fiona » Thu Dec 07, 2006 7:50 pm

:D Had my weigh-in today. i'm so thrilled at the fact that i lost the .9 i wanted to.
Started my Kris Kringle shopping, walked a couple of k's around the shops, then i did my cleaning job for 3 hours. Picked up kiddies then took the 2 girls out to the shops for the rest of the Kris Kringles and grocery shopping. got home at 7.40pm!!!! Put shopping away, DS has just gone to bed. Now is me time, to read my mail and new posts.
Have a couple of Christmas parties coming up next week and i'm going to be extra good because i really really really really want to be 60 kilos on Christmas day.
See ya later. :) :D :D :D :D

WOW SOUNDS LIKE A BUSY DAY. APPARENTLY THE SHOPS WERE PACKED RIGHT UP TIL LATE LAST Night!

kris kringle is where you draw a name out and you have to buy that person a gift for xmas and you wrap it but you dont say who its from and then everyone opens their presents and then work out who got who what. quite popular amongst school groups, work places, and so on.

well done on losing that weight too fiona. you are so close, keep up the great work, i wanna see new photos when you reach 60kg!!

Hi there ppl. Hope u all had a wonderful Christmas with your family and friends. We had a good one with heaps and heaps of food, which we will have for the next week!!!
I got a weight watchers scales........oh oh......no excuses now, the festive season did horrible things to my numbers, they went UP!!!
Oh well, no point groaning about it i suppose, i knew they would.
DH weighed in at 96.7 kilos. hes quite enjoying weighing himself. Lets hope we can get his numbers down after the silly season is over. 13 year old son came in at 61.3 which is a bit on the high side, but he is growing so fast, hes 166cm already.
I'm sorry to hear about you feathered friends Ally. what a shock for u, i'm so glad your children didn't have to see it.

Talk to u soon everyone :) :)

Aww Fiona don't worry, get back on track when you can. I think many of us have taken a beating on the scales over the last week or so.

Glad to hear you had a lovely Christmas all the same. :D

Hey Fiona I have just re-read your post and you said you had the Weight Watchers scales....they are really great!! I have been using them for ages now (since week 2 of being here). They cost a pretty penny, but they are worth it!!!

i'm back

Postby fiona » Mon Jan 15, 2007 8:41 pm

hello ppl. i'm back after a wee break from dieting, computers and work. I feel relaxed and pretty laid back at the moment, just what the doctor ordered. Spent a week down in Phillip island with DH and 3 kids. Had a super time and ate heaps of take out and yummy ice cream.

Am now back on the wagon as of today. Went a walk this morning, ate plenty of vegies and drank gallons of water. Feeling better already!!!!

My total weight gain since before Christmas is 1.5 kilos, which isn't so bad considering the crap i've eaten  But the break was just what i needed.

My zucchini plants are still producing wonderfully, and i've got tomatoes ripening daily so i've no execuses. My capsicum plant didn't do well though, only got to cherry tomatoe size and no more....mmmmmm, will plant more next growing season and see how they go.
A big hello to all the newies on this site as i've not got the time to read all the posts.

Bye for now

Hey Fiona, glad you had a great and relaxing time away!! Sometimes it is just what you need to kick back into things!! Wow 1.5kg gain in 4-5 weeks is great (if you know what I mean). Love the sound of your zucchini and tomato plants...YUMMO!! I had the same trouble with my capsicums a few years back...don't know why they didn't get any bigger!!

Welcome back to the forum mate!
