Ah monday again my diet always takes a downslide on the weekend but Im getting good at getting right back into it once monday hits. It must be just the different frame of mind I get in on the weekends which is silly because as a shift worker my days off arnt neccessary on the weekend!! but hey thats life as long as I keep losing Im OK with it all.
Bugger this exercise thing must really work the scales are looking good and Im looking/feeling less bloated. My "problem area" is my stomach so I liking that very much. Went for a swim yesterday, wow thats really hard and incrediby boring  going up and down is not my idea of a good time but I gave it a go

Swimming is a bit boring hey Jody. I do intermingle different strokes tho, to keep me more interested. And I count in lots of 10. That way I don't get too confused. Our pool is only 10m long so I have to count lots!!! I do up and back as one lap so every 10 laps is 200m.

You are doing well with the weight loss mate. You'll get to goal in no time.

Thats a good idea to mix it up a bit I was going to do some running in the water too and see if I get into that surely it must be good for the legs. I went for a big walk last evening and got soo wet it absolutely poured with rain but I walked for about an hour so Im pleased with that.
Took the kids to see Happy Feet yesterday it was really enjoyable and I munced on some extra suger free lollies and a few rice crackers to avoid popcorn and the kids lollies-man that popcorn smelt good!! Woke up starving this morning and feeling so empty and shakey so thinking maybe I didnt eat enough yesterday, Ive been really bad at skipping breaky for the last few of days and just having a couple of coffees instead so I made myself an egg on wholemeal toast to eat this morning and am feeling slightly better but not quiet right yet

Jody it took me a little while to get into the swimming but now I love it. I bought a water proof watch so I can time myself and try and beat my PB, which is slow but it keeps me interested and I really miss it now if I havent been at least 3 times in a week.

walking in water is great for your legs because of the resistance, our pool is 25 metres so I do 8 laps and check the time and it helps it go faster and before long it has been an hour.

I guess its not for everyone though, but nice for a change especially in this heat 8)

I do walking up and down the pool as a breather. My arms get quite sore after about 20 laps! :? I havent been able to go in the last few days because of the cooler weather. Frank said the weekend is going to be hot so I am looking forward to that.
