haha i'm having the opposite problem babylove - can we swap appetites??
And Robyn, my weight flucuates a fair bit on a daily basis. My official weight is always my lowest weight - ie, first thing in the morning, straight after a shower and bathroom trip, before breakfast - so even though it says 67.5kgs if i gt on the scales throughout the day it usually reads more like 68kgs (or 68.5!).
Actually i find what happens is, say I'll eat badly (for example, go out for a massive meal with family at a restaurant and get dessert etc -family things are a problem for me) and i come home feeling full and sick and fat and angry at myself. I wont want to weigh myself cos i feel like i'll have gained at least 5 kgs, and in the past I wouldnt have weighed myself (i'd have put it off saying to myself 'i'll eat well the next few days and weigh myself next week' etc). But now i force myself on the scales, and usually there isnt any difference in my weight!
And then i generally feel relieved and get over it, rather than continuing to dwell on it and then usually eating badly becuase im in a bad frame of mind.
The other thing is, i have a really old set of scales, they're non -digital, so you cant really see small changes in weight. As you can only really see changes at .5kg or more, i dont obsess over every 300gr etc. Would probably a different story if i had scales like that
