Yesterday I learned the importance of drinking heaps of water.... I drank about 3 litres of water yesterday as I was dehydrated from the activities over the weekend. I lost most of the weight I gained after I was rehydrated and had a great night of sleep.

This morning I weighed in at 95.7kgs! Super excited!!!

Vicki, thanks for all of your support! It really encourages me to keep going. :D

I have been having a horrible time on the scales... Today I weighed in at 96.7 :( The good news is that I can definitely see that my body shape is changing in a positive way.

I take all of my photos nakey :D so I can't post them here, but I can definitely see the positive changes. I am curvier - not a fat blob, my hips are getting smaller and my back fat is shrinking!

I have started a light weights routine to start toning up as I lose, and I think that this might be what is giving me a hard time on the scales. I am now staying on track and aiming to get into smaller sized clothes :D

Hey there!

I sometimes think the scales are our worst enemy!! I have been on and off the scales all week and my weight goes up and down as much as a couple of kilos each day... Strangely I can weigh a kilo less by the end of the day - then back up the next morning - I just do not understand!!

If you can see the difference in your self than that is the best guide I think.

Keep it up, those smaller clothes are calling!!

Thanks Vicki :)

I am back on the wagon - kind of... I am weighing in at 95.5 this morning, which is great. I have definitely noticed the change, and even my husband (who never notices anything) has commented on how great I am looking.

Motivation is high :) The more I see the changes the more I want to keep going. I love knowing that I am now in control of my body.

We have increased the instensity of our walks... we are now almost jogging. In a week or so we will start jogging for small intervals.

I hope you all have had an amazing weekend, and are ready for the 1 million kilo challenge!

Congratulations on all of your achievments! Weighloss, uni and the unexpected reno!!!

I like to think of all experiences as positive lessons if nothing else.

What is good is you saw WHY you put on the weight and have already committed to the walking to do something about curbing the effects of the pizza so WELL DONE again.

You've probably heard it all before but have you thought about also adding a couple of 'emergency freezer meals' to your plan? Next time you make yourself a healthy dinner that is freezable, make extra for in case of the unexpected need for convenience? So next time you are too worn out to cook, just turn to the trusty microwave for a full meal.

Hope you are not feeling too down on yourself because it looks to me as though you are doing a great job. Good luck getting it back off!

I agree that seeing or even feeling a change within ourselves goes a long way toward motivating us to keep at it! You really are doing such a great job!!

Morning all,

I weighed in at 95.2 this morning. This takes me up to 7.8kgs lost, or 10.2kgs away from my trip to Melbourne haha! I am super excited.

I seem to have a fairly well established routine now, that includes walking. It was miserable yesterday afternoon - not quite raining, but trying hard to - and I still pulled on my shoes and socks and went for my walk. I was super proud of myself.

At the moment work is quiet, so I am spending a lot of time reading about weight loss and keeping myself motivated. I have been collecting a few recipes along the way to try out when I start wanting more variety in my diet.

I hope you are all having a great week so far!

You are definitely doing great!!

Thats the best thing about weight loss, it's not just the physical changes, but the changes that occur inside ourselves (not trying to get all Dr Phil here lol) but it's true!!

I jumped on the scales this morning... and I was 94.9! Woooo! *HAPPY DANCE* I am under 95kgs!!!

This takes me to a total loss of 8.1kgs.

I love this feeling. It really inspires me to keep going. I also love the fact that food does not control my life anymore. I used to be really fussy about what I ate - as in I wouldn't eat the same meal twice in one week. Now I eat because I know it fuels my body.

Years of working in hospitality and not eating enough wrecked my metabolism... switching to an office job reduced the amout of exercise I was doing, but I did nothing to change my eating habits. Now I am starting to curb the emotional eating and it feels amazing.

I bought a pair of swimmers for the first time in ages. I bought them online, but they are amazing. They are gorgeous pin up girl style - made for girls with curves in all the right places. I bought them in a size 12, so am working really hard to get in to them. I want to do it. I want to be able to go out in public in them and know I look super hot.

Well, I should have started working 10 mins ago... Have a wonderful day!
