time to be accountable

Postby nicscraft » Fri Mar 23, 2012 5:08 pm

well i have tried and not really done that well over the last few weeks. or should i say i haven't tried.
i really want to lose the weight but when it comes to picking what i'm going to eat or drink i pick the wrong things and then regret it after.
my biggest down fall is the alcohol.
so i will be keeping track of my goals and progress in here everyday (if i can) to make my self accountable. even if i am the only one that reads this it will be in writing and i may be able to start to make the changes and decisions that i need to get to my goal weight.

a little bit about myself.
i have 3 kids and work 30 hours a week (3 different jobs)
i at my heaviest was 117kg
i got down to 86kg last year but am now 95kg.
i would like to get down to 75kg.
i really want to have another kid but would like to be under 80kg before i get preg again. ( need to be fitter than last time to be able to get though it)
so..............
i will post tonight once the kids are in bed and try to eat well in the mean time.
here goes.

today has been a good day for food and the only drinks i have had is tea and water.
a muffin with cream cheese for breakfast
a chicken and cheese sandwich for lunch
a peice of pull apart for afternoon tea
and mushroom and veg soup for tea.
and a handful of smarties as i put the kids to bed.

i just hope i can keep this up long term.

I must be thick but..............what's pull apart?

Good start...hope you didn't just pop that full handful in your mouth and chew it guiltily ...is that a word?

Smarties are great one by one...a short suck to soften the outer casing. Hold then longways between your front teeth, and crack it, lick the chocolate piece out and enjoy, crunch what's left of the casing! hahahaha

a pull apart is a bread roll (this one was bacon and cheese) you would normaly share with friends. there was only a 1/5 left so it wasn't alot.
as for the smarties no i didn't put them all in at once. 2 at a time and just suck till its all gone.
lol that doesn't sound great but they taste good

snuck in 1/2 a bag of pork crackle and 4 chips last night.
still feeling good today
1 week of all alcohol wow
had a chat with hubby last night and have decided that we will start trying for a kid in july.
so i have 14 weeks to loose just over 15kg at last weeks weight.
is doable i just have to keep the motivation up.
i really want to be under 80kg before i get preg
fingers crossed

What a great goal you have! I wish you well and really hope you succeed.

Good luck and keeps us informed. Hopefully you will be receiving your news, just about the same time as my first little grand baby is born.

LOL @ RTF that is how I like to eat smarties!

so yesterday i had 1 crumpet with honey for b'fast
a ham and pineapple sandwich for lunch
and a tarco for tea.
had a migrane and ended up in bed at 7pm last night

woke up this morning feeling crap.
and then the scales told me i have lost 200g since last week.
not happy about that
if i didn't have such a great goal to head towards i think i would just give up now
so....... now it off for a walk and some b'fast

well after a disapointing morning weigh in i managed to still stay on track
b'fast was a piece of toast
lunch a ham and cheese sandwich
tea a bowl of mushroom and veg soup.
i even managed to not have any smarties when i put the kids to bed.
no alcohol today either. (this is a really big thing for me)
a friend told me a couple of days ago to not eat while standing up. i have put this in to place at work and i hope it helps

slowly moving ahead. just wish i could see more movement

tea???????
might do a roast without the roast veg. at least for me.

tonight i had curry with rice and veg with papadams and nan bread. it all tasted good but now i wish i had not had the bread or papadams.
i was given a glass of wine but i only had a couple of sips then gave it to my husband to drink.
i also had some smarties tonight.
