Haha yeah I was pretty surprised myself. Just walking around the river Clyde, listening to some good tunes and I burned 533 calories, can't argue with that.

Well after a long weekend, it was a bank holiday and I work in a night club so it was pretty brutal. I'm feeling fitter and leaner now that pretty much all the water weight gone, people asking me if I've lost weight after 1 week of dieting and exercise so I'm feeling pretty good :D

Starting off with a 45 minute jump rope session, will do core exercises and some tricep workouts today.

Early rise this morning, gonna go for a good 2 hour walk soon, hopefully should burn around 600 calories if I go at a good pace. Then I'll have breakfast which will be Porridge, fruit for lunch, chicken and veg for dinner.

Will be doing another jump rope session today, last nights one was INTENSE, never sweated so much in my life but it felt great. I feel I'm getting fitter with every session and I'm really enjoying mixing it from normal jump rope to switching to 1 foot, then the other and so on and then for the last 10-15 seconds going all out as fast as I can. Will also work out my upper body today.

Well that was one good walk, according to Nike+ fitness:

Duration 2 hours, 41 minutes 47 seconds
Start time: 12:23
End time: 3:05
Distance: 15.22 km
Calories burned: 959

Pretty happy with that :D

Had a little rest, ate an apple,an orange and a banana and a nice cup of green tea. in an hour I'm going to do my jump rope session.

How are you burning nearly 1000 calories in that walk??? What are you doing? I want to know so I ccould do just that - my walks burn like 100 - 300 calories for 30 min, maybe my GPS isn't any good :(

Nice work so far :)

I think I burned so many calories with that walk yesterday because I walked pretty fast for 9.4 miles without really stopping. I also done a skipping/jump rope session yesterday and my legs are HEAVY! Don't think I'll be going on a 9 mile trek today.

I live right next to a river so it's pretty easy to walk these long distances, there are 4 bridges, walking round them 3 times is 9.47 miles, my aim tomorrow is do it 4 times. Again all of this is according to Nike+ fitness on my iPod Nano, I don't know exactly how accurate it is.

Today I shall be doing mostly upper body work with a jump rope session, plus a bit of yoga.

Meals:
Breakfast - Porridge
Lunch- fruit
Dinner - some kind of lean meat and veggies

Yesterday I tried on one of my old T shirts from years ago and it fitted, a few weeks ago it would have been tight on me but now it's fits like a glove :D Very happy with my progress so far. Will my first progress pics this coming Monday

My first weigh in shall be today, just heading out to get some scales. Hoping I'm no more than 101kg (16 stone) but I have my doubts.

Well that makes sense, and you're probably super tall... I used to live by a river and it was a beautiful walk... Now it's the same thing every day, probably just as good but it tends to get a little boring...

How did the walk go today?

I'm not really tall, 5ft 11 at most. There was no walk unfortunately, my legs were too heavy. I done some yoga, some upper body training and core exercises.

Keep your legs moving though so they dont stiffen up too much.

You're doing well :)

Well I'm a very happy man, today was the first time I'd weighed myself in 6months+ and I weighed around 92kg. I couldn't believe it, I was aiming for 16 stone which is around 101kg. I'm so happy :D I guess I wasn't as heavy as I thought. I will post progress pics on Monday.

This is probably the lightest I've been for at least 5-6 years, now I just need to lose around 16kg and I'm down to my goal weight.

Happy days indeed.
