My journey of recovery

Postby Teenage struggle » Fri Jun 22, 2012 2:09 pm

So I finally found a psychologist that will help me with over coming y bulimic problems
I have my first appointment Monday.
I'm excited to finally get some help but I'm nervous and scared all at the same time.
I'm scared that this won't work but I'm determined to try y hardest and be persistent
Wish my luck, I know it's going to be a good experience !

Well done. Was this the one that your doctor referred you to? See one step at a time. It is all positive from here.
Just keep in mind not to get down if you slip up or progress is not happening as fast as you like. Everything you do now counts, you are in control but we are all human - see all the other posts by people who open up about their slip ups......shrug your shoulders and tomorrow is always a new and better day.
Keep us in the loop and have a great weekend.
:)

Nah the one my doctor referred me to doesn't deal with teenagers so we had to go on the hunt for a different one. But she seems really friendly so that's great !

Best of luck to you. It's a great start recognising that there might be a problem and that you're doing something about it.
