My journey of recovery

Postby Teenage struggle » Tue Jul 03, 2012 12:03 pm

2/7/12
I had my second psychologist visit today
My psychologist wanted to revisit the reason I started going there.
I said some things along the lines of getting my self esteem and confidence back and to learn to have a healthy relationship with food.
She decided that she wanted to do this deep relaxation therapy which I would decribe it sort of like hypnotherapy.
She said that she just planted some seeds about self esteem ad all that sorta of stuff.
It was good ad I have another appointment in a couple days

It all sounds very positive and calming which is probably what you need. You sound more calmer. How have your eating patterns been going?
Keep up the appointments, it will be good.

My eating has progressively getting better
I've had alt of support from everyone around me
I've started a new goal as of the first of this month
I want to lose a kilo a week this month and then I'll reevaluate a the end of the month
A very big achievement for me though is that last night as the first night I didn't binge eat at work
I was soo proud!
And my mum and my bestfriend were very proud of me too which felt so good!
