I havent done to well last 3 days. I pigged out on pretzels and i gained 2 kgs this weigh in. Seriously!, i hope I am not back sliding. I am scared for myself. But i can say one thing is for sure. I have learnt my lesson.. I am gonna get back on my two feets and march on witth this journey. I have too. I have no choice. I need to lose weight for so many reasons other than fit into smaller clothes. I Feel so stupid though for bingding on preztels. I am giving up the cigarettes and instead of smoking i ate. This is really not recommended.

Here is to the next weigh in . I want to have lost the weight i put on this week... Usually what comes on fast i lose it fast.

I got changed ready to walk a 5 k walk when it begins to rain. Not happy Jan !! Its been overcast and rainy last two days. I really do hope tomorrow is not like today. I am eager to go for a walk. If its only light rain tomorrow maybe i could take a umbrella.. see how it goes. My aim is to walk 5 km each week day. Adding up to 25 k a week. I think thats pretty doable. At the moment I am only walking about 3-4 K each time i walk. I am not playing games with myself anymore. I am only cheating myself .... Gonna get rid of this buldge :)

That is the key thought to nail down. We only cheat ourselves. Keep that mantra in your head and it will help you go far!

i was only able to walk 3.55 km/ 45 mins as it looked like it was gonna rain down any moment. Glad i was able to fit this in before it stormed again.. Hopefully tomorrow the weather will be better, I am eager to do a 5 km walk under an hour..
I realize that i have to push my body when it doesnt want to move this is when i will really see results.
My new mantra " I am only cheating myself " ( re: eating wrongly and not enough exercise )....
High light today was i jogged a little of the walk not much though. I might start incorportating a 30 sec jog every 5 mins or something to begin with anyway. I havent jogged in years and i have alot of weight to jog with haha. So bit by bit i will get there.

I have my excitement back like i have just started this journey Yay for me I am gonna do this... Push Push and I will have a breakthrough....

From little jogs...big jogs will come! Good work, just start doing this real slow...we don't want injuries.

In raining weather you just have to grab your exercise when and how you can.

I like your new mantra very much. It is about character...and character is what will see you through to the end and keep the weight off forever. :D

I am also considering seeing a dietician and a counsellor to get me through this and also related issues related to smoking cigarettes. Its free services at the centre where i see my specialist doctor. I think it would be a good idea...

My body was feeling stiff and tight so i thought i would pull out my Pilates for dummies dvd... I did 20 mins of it.. Was really challengining which is good. Only the 2nd time ive done pilates.
I decided i will do pilates twice a week and rest of the days i will walk 4-5 k.... I do need to strengthen my muscles.. and keeping a variety of execises during the week will keep me going. Wont get bored of walking every day. I think its a great idea....
Next weigh in at the doctors which is in two weeks i want to weight about 124.5-125.5 kilos..
I will lose this weight what ever it takes and how ever long it takes. I will not give up . :)

Mix up the type of exercise you do will really help your body work it hard. You will see good results doing that. :D

Yeah...there is a point in your weight loss where you start to feel the results. It is a great motivator too! :D

Hey Em, do you realise that just 0.4 after your mini goal you would have reached your half way point...now that is way cool eh? 8)

Goodness Gracious !! I have been doing pilates and walking through out the week and i am still the same weight... When is this fat gonna shift off me. ITs been almost 8-10 weeks since i have lost a kilo. How long till i lose a decent kilo again. I havent lost any cms around my waist either. What am i doing wrong ??!!
Well maybe come to think of it i was 127 kilos about 2 months ago ....some times the scales will read 126 kg then next week 125.5 then other week i weigh back to 127 kgs.
I went to see my endocrine doctor yesterday and my thyroids are almost under active so maybe this is why i am not losing weight as i should be... I wont talk to him for another 2 months to readjust my meds and see if im underactive. So i may have another 2 months of this plateau'd weight....ggrrrr :? :(
