Hi everyone
i posted in the introductions so i thought i would post here to start the journey
i have decided that it is time for me to get really serious about losing weight, i have in the past lost weight (havent we all) and gained it and more.
I have recently downloaded my fitness pal app for my phone and find this the best thing ever, it keeps me honest with what i eat and how much exercise i do.
i have cut out all the crap that i used to eat, lollies, chocolates and have been eating 1200 cals a day
i get up at 5.20am to do a workout (Jillian Micheal's ripped in 30) before work and the last few days i have been getting on the exercise bike for 20mins at night then do some exercise on the wii.
i will be weighing in on Monday's
SW 115kgs Horrified at that number
CW 110kgs
GW 70kgs

hope to hear from you all soon

take care

Down to 107 this week on the scales Woohoo a loss of 2 kgs, worked really hard over the weekend, have a goal of another 2kgs this week and that will make it 10kgs in a month, relly enjoying the exercise and healthy eating.
Have a great week everyone

Good for you....that is actually one of the keys to sustaining your new lifestyle......actually enjoying it. You must push yourself and take yourself out of your comfort zone but if you hate it then it becomes unsustainable......you have probably discovered that healthy food doesn't mean tasteless or boring......make your food tasty with spices and other flavours.
Look forward to another good weigh in next week.

Another great result. :D You must be working at it like a demon.

10 kilos in a month is the sort of number I was getting at the beginning months and I'm a bloke! But don't forget this thing is a marathon...keep an eye open so that you don't burning yourself out. Been there...done that.

Keep focussed and do it smart. Well done!

I laughed out loud at your post...you don't know how true it is. :D Towards the end I was happy getting any loss. Numbers that I would have turned my nose up at the beginning of my journey were gratefully received...because I actually had to work harder to get them! As they say; make hay while the sun shines. 8)

It is quiet here at the moment but I've noticed that there are a lot of lurkers who haven't signed in or up. I encourage them to join in...the more the merrier...and the more encouraging it is for us - and them! :D

Think of it as slowly chipping away. I have had my weeks where I've said to myself "Really? That's all I get for that work?!" but the following week makes up for it. Just know you are doing the right thing by losing it gradually, consistently but also not too quickly :)

You're doing a fabulous job, well done!

Death by exercise? If you're not shifting weight doing that stuff then there is something seriously wrong with you. Great effort! :D

An one kilo loss is what you want to be doing. Right on course...that better future is getting closer and closer! :D
