You'll find that your body will have periods where things aren't moving along. Don't despair...it's just your body playing catch up. Typically most people fall into a "good" week/"bad week" pattern. Those lesser loss weeks are just important for your weight loss...that is where your body is consolidating the loss and making muscle ready to give you a better result in the week to come.

These are your "salad days"; so make hay while the sun shines! :D At the sharp end of your journey you'll be jumping for joy with a 0.5kg loss...something that you would turn your nose up on today (because you would have worked harder for that result!).

Keeping working hard at it and success is yours! 8)

Thanks Blitz.... I'm marching forward... I keep thinking to not focus too hard on the scales and how I feel... and I can feel it.. DEFINITELY.. my pants are nearly falling off ... so I know its working and I will keep focusing on that. I'm jotting everything down to see if I can start seeing a pattern, so it will be interesting to see.. and thanks for the tip on the salad.

Don't wait too long to change pants or they WILL fall off! I know it happened to me! One night I was doing my routine midnight jog. The council collection was coming soon and someone had left a really big solid bookcase out. Checked it out and decided I wanted it (I have a lot of books). Finished my jog and grabbed my van to pick up the bookcase. Loaded it into my van only to find that it was sticking out about half a metre - and no rope to tie the tailgate down. Remembered my belt and began tying it down...that's when my pants fell down to my ankles!  Thank goodness it was 1am and the traffic was really light! Be warned!

Well week three is nearly over and it seems this week is my week for my body to catch up with itself. FRUSTRATING TO SAY THE LEAST. 103 point something all week (I KNOW I SHOULDN'T WEIGH EVERY MORNING AND SHOULD WAIT TO GET A TRUE REFLECTION)... BUT I'm not one of those people.. I have NO PATIENCE.. and it feels like a little surprise every morning.

Anyway... I've been on 103 point something all week and I'm getting REALLY CROSS

I'm still being good.. I know it all adds up and the scale will move again... but it better move soon before I throw it out the window HAA HAA..

Anyway, lets say what week 3 weigh in brings. x

I weighed myself every day (and still do). It helps keep your focus on the task at hand. If you do weigh yourself every day you have to develop a long term view of the numbers and a thick skin or you will end up dying the death each day. Remember your weekly numbers tell the story better and the daily numbers give you the rhythm of that story.

Above all else - don't throw the scales out the window...you might hit your neighbour who will sue you - and it messes with accuracy of the scales!
Hang in there...it will get better. :D

Haa haa... yes.. I never considered the neighbour...

I must say the scale just missed the chucking out the window.. and dropped in to the 102's... maybe threatening it with the can opener worked

The can opener...you sadist! But I fully understand...the scales sometimes your best friend - but often that friend that betrays you.

And I'm back.. Hubby has left again.. I must say I pigged out.. but not as bad as normally. I went to gym nearly every day to lessen the blow.. and I'm feeling bloated and heavy. My weigh in is on Tuesday.. so I'm going to work my arse off from now till then, and hopefully the impact of this past week won't be so bad. On track again. xxx

Well back on track indeed....

Signed up for my first ever 12km RUN... eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeekhhhhhhhh...

Feeling excited in one hand... and crapping myself in the other.

So.. I have 43 days to train.. HAA HAA. but luckily I am doing it with a friend to hold me accountable.

As for the food situation.. I'm back on track and feeling really good. I must drink more water though

the one good thing... is I bought myself my first pair of lycra 'size 18 - fits perfectly) pair of gym pants. When hubby gets home next.. I want him to get me a good pair of running shoes.. and arm band to hold my phone whilst I run)......

Can't wait for next week.. I WILL BE UNDER 100 KGS.. and I have already booked myself in to get my nails done on the Thursday as my reaching 99kg treat.

Hey Dolly

Thanks hun... Didn't have the best weekend though.. (blaming mother naturen :( :( :( :( :( )
BUT... putting it behind me and moving on. I have two and half weeks before hubby gets home.. So I am DESPERATE to see under 100... So I'm going to give everything I have got (including the kitchen sink) for the next two weeks..

Not looking forward to weigh in tomorrow either. Wish I had a time machine and could go back two days. lol

How was your weekend? Heres to a good week for the pair of us. xxxx
