Time to dig deep and with Australia Day long weekend up next it is going to be brutal..

Hey jp,

you have to gather all that will, determination and gusto and you will breeze through this weekend - that's the hardest part when you catch up with your mates that you usually eat/drink with, they continue on & you sit there eating carrot sticks & drinking diet coke - well I say, if they are real good mates they will congratulate you on what you have achieved so far & give you 100% support to get through this weekend, with them & yourself it will be a challenge but look how far you have come - get a before & after photo and stick them around your house everywhere as a constant reminder of where you are at. You know you don't want to return to your old self. I, as I am sure everyone else on here too, has 100% faith in you we are all behind you. I shall log on here daily to make sure you are still on track!

Hey JP,

that's ok that you haven't lost any weight today - look how far you have come so far & has you say now the tough get goin - so keep getting on mister - don't let that sway you one iota. and by the way you need to hide those scales and bring out once a week - I don't know how you jump on every morning, I'd feel like they were running my life.

First beer (one) and glass of wine (one) at a friends birthday bash at a restaurant this evening, ate moderately but a nice reward after ten days of my health kick.. Went on my usual 2 hour walk beforehand to offset.. Don't consider the above 'cheats' as if I'm never going to be allowed luxuries every now and then, even on this health kick it'd be hardly worth bothering..

i'm with you on that one - we also have to LIVE - if you feel like eating/drinking something then have it, we are human after all and do have cravings. I had a 38g lindt chocolate bar yesterday, thought well if im going to have chocolate make it the best - enjoyed every mouthful let me tell you that :D

My god man!!!! you've lost 7.1kg - you've got to be over the moon about that - what do you mean you don't know what happened this week - you still lost. and with all the exercise and that you're body is turning into muscle & as anyone knows muscle weighs more - I know I know, when you are losing weight you don't want to hear that, you just want to see the scales going down down down. go by your clothes, they have to be getting loser, doing the belt buckle up down another notch????? I bet you are. and plus you have to be feeling much better on the inside - happier, more energy, sleeping better, the list goes on. 8)
