Yes you can, I have one every other day, only difference is I don't go "fkn mental" I have whatever I want (including take away eg. burger or pizza) but it's in MODERATION and any calories above my allowance is paid for (well and truly)!!!

I have no cheat days. Each day is much the same I eat well but moderately. If I have a social occasion I manage my other food around it but I still aim to be moderate.

Because I've worked out my healthy lifestyle I have no desire for fast foods like KFC or Maccas and the like. The last time I walked into a KFC was to buy water...the rest of the shop held no appeal at all. Once a month the guys at the magic club hit Maccas after the meeting. They order up all sorts of stuff but I just get a cappuccino...nothing that they have tempts me. I don't feel like I'm missing out...which is why I won't fall of the wagon. There is nothing to fall down from. For example, cool drinks can't be my downfall - simply because I can have as many as I want - which is none at all!

Andy, you will find that the flu will knock you around a bit. Keep vigilant but don't panic. I've just come out of a cold spell. I found that I had to exercise about one third more than I usually had to just to counter what it was doing to my body. Same amount of food...but more work required to shift it!

Andy, it is never a bad day if the number is lower than the day before! 8)

Don't let a number dictate your self worth.

That is the situation...no use getting down about it.

When these things happen what you do is own it (you did it...take responsibility for it), take stock of it (what is now required to bring that weight back down), learn from it (why did it happen? How can I avoid it happening again if I'm found in the same kind of situation?) and move on!

This is how you get to grips with your healthy new lifestyle. Don't look at these things as failures but rather as opportunities to learn and grow stronger! 8)

SPOT ON!!!!

I had a lovely long (and indulgent) weekend and went from singing "living in the 70's" to feeling pretty flat at seeing 81.5kg (a whopping 1.6kg gain) on the scales. So I may not be singing and dancing around in joy, I'm dusted myself off and have been busy working towards getting back to where I was last weigh in AND now I have a better understanding of how quickly things can escalate if I don't take control!!!

So far so good.....I kg down, 600g to go (in just one day)! :D

You can do it too Andy, it's a minor setback that's true but it's only small in the grand scheme of things, and the huge amount you've achieved so far!!!

78.25 Kg[/quote]Well done Andy!!! You've certainly put my effort to shame, and I can honestly say, there's no better reason!!! Good on you, and (secretly I knew you'd get back to your previous weight in NO TIME AT ALL) keep things in perspective and enjoy your new lifestyle changes.

Work function Sat night, will push myself next couple of days and get me an insurance kg or more if I can.

I know my body is telling my I am at my Ideal weight now, but I'd rather lose that extra kg so I don't have to work so hard next week..
