I will be weighing in each Monday night with other family members and will post my results here. Hopefully we help keep each other on track - but I know motivation comes from the inside.

My goals are weight loss but also clothing size.

Best of luck tree. It's good to have a weightloss goal plus a clothing size reduction as sometimes parts of you get smaller without the weight loss being as noticeable. It's a good way to see you are getting smaller no matter what the scales say. :D

Good luck with your weight loss Tree. Good thinking about adding in the clothing size as part of your weight loss.

Big Challenge Ahead!

Postby tree » Fri Jan 05, 2007 12:10 pm

Meeting friends at the beach tonight and they plan to have take away for tea.

I really want to stay under my food limit and get my gold star for today, as I did not get one yesterday. :(

Fingers and legs crossed for me. I am going to check out if there is a Subway close by, that might save me from the Fish and Chip shop......

Tree if there is no Subway, get the fish and chip shop to do you a hamburger - to your specifications - that way you will only spend about 400 cals (I did this for lunch today :D)
Every day I am getting thinner and thinner.....

I survived the beach and fish and chip shop challenge.
There was no subway so we ended up at the fish and chip shop, while hubby had the fish and chips I ordered a plain yiros - I had saved enough points during the day that I came in under my limit and also was able to convince the others to go for a 20 min walk. yipee. gold star for me! :D

Weighing in tonight. I have had a pretty good week so I am looking forward to seeing the results.

It it a toasted wrap thing with lamb onion lettuce usually garlic sauce, you can have a whole load of extras like cheese, tomato

Yeah we call them Kebabs in western aussie as well. SA does have strange names for things. When we were over there a few years ago I wanted some palony from the store and I asked the lady for 6 slices and she goes "what"??? So I had to point and she goes o that is devon........I'm like "what".......hahaha!!!

I do love kebabs and they are a good choice if there is no subway around.

Good luck on your weigh in Tree.
