i read on the calorie king website that 1kg is 7500 calories argh its soooo confusing :P

Yeah Jewles, I know what you mean, coz even though 7500kJ & 9000kJ don't seem that big a difference, they are when you convert them to calories! Well, I think they are.

Anyway... I'm happy to report that my Energy Goal was 1640

I consumed 1505 calories and I burnt 240 calories with my Hotpants Workout DVD! If anyone likes to dance, it's a great workout!

So I am quite pleased with myself.

After completing Day 1 of my food diary, I can see the area's I can improve on. And there's no area to write your exercise routine, so I created my own spot to keep track of it.

Overall, I'm happy. :D

Hello everybodeeeeeeee!!!!!!!

I'm excited to report that I weighed myself yesterday! And I weighed 95.5 kilo's!

:lol: :lol: :lol: YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm so happy now!!!!!!!!!!!!! :lol: :lol: :lol:

Thanks everyone for your words of encouragement. After talking to my friend about my half kilo weight gain, she asked me if it was "that time of the month". (Sorry blokes) And yes - it is that time of the month so that explains the weight gain.

My friend also said I should keep my starting weight at 96.5 - not 70. So I'll have to readjust that on my ticker. Now I'm really excited to move my exercising lady up along my ticker abit. Have to figure out how to do that.

Sorry for being such a sad sack before. Thanks again for your support. :D

Good on you Shaz. The food diaries are really helpful so you can review and see if or where improvement can be made. Nice effort, keep it up. :D

Hi everyone

I've been exercising at LEAST 3 days a week & sticking to my calorie counting. Although I've slackened off with the food diary!! But I'm still measuring everything!!!!

I've lost another 1.5 kilo's.

YAYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!! I now weigh 94 & I just LOOOOVE moving that ticker!!!

I've also taken a photo of me on Australia day. It's a full-length shot. I know it's not my start weight but it'll give you a good idea of it, so stay tuned for that post. I was thinking of posting a pic of me where I felt the MOST disappointed at seeing my weight. You know... one of those shots that you think is going to be good..... and then you see the dreaded photo!!! That's what inspired me to finally DO something about it.

Anyway...I'll post a pic soon.

As for not doing the food diary, you should because you can look back on it and see from week to week, what foods gave you the best result

Sounds like you're doing great, Shaz!! Good on you for keeping up the exercise and healthy eating :) :) It's definitely showed on the scales! As for the food diary, Lolly is right :) I'd be lost without mine!!
