I knew you would love that treadmill Marnie. And you can see yourself getting fitter every week by how much faster/longer you can go. Good on you mate. And as I said before about the food, you are having to train your body and mind all over again, to how it was when you lost the weight last time. Dont beat yourself up over it mate. Whats done is done and you cant change it, unless you have a spew of course but I certainly don't recommend that!!!! I hate throwing up.

LOL I don't mind at all!! I'm sorry I haven't been around its been so busy this week. I've been good with my treadmill workouts. It's killing me but I'm doing it! Determined to get through a whole one without panting and stopping halfway through.

The eating is better this week. I don't expect to have lost any weight but I'm going ok. This weather is just awful. I'm back into it on Monday LOL I guess I was just maintaining after the shocker of the week before. I'm getting there! Going to Karratha in April and there's no way I'm going to be up there looking like this!! :P

Ok so really happy with no gain in the past week, but no loss either. I'm loving my treadmill... treadmill is my best friend LOL. Going to try for twice a day. Yesterday I did a 30 min powerwalk/jog on it, then last night did a power walk for 30 mins as well. We also went to the beach yesterday and I did some boogey boarding with my oldest (my youngest tends to jump the waves on the shore :) ) and that was wonderful. I really miss the water!! I used to swim like a fish when I was young, but then we used to have a pool as well.

Back to school for our guys tomorrow woohoo!! They are driving me crazy because they are so bored. I'm back to work though next week so even though I'm not on here much, I'm still sticking to plan and I'll be losing that weight!!

Hi Pinkie glad you like your treadmill....I too, love swimming and I miss it terribly. I go down to the local 50m pool and usually pay for a months membership as going 5 days a week, it works out cheaper. Is there anything like that in your area?? It might pay you to look into it as swimming is a great all round exercise that is easy on your joints.

They do have a community pool/s but they are so packed. Where I live it's just grown so much and so fast, that they are talking about building a second complex to house a pool but in the meantime it's just busy busy. I'll be spending a lot of time there this year with the kids learning to swim. Especially this term both the boys will be enrolled in classes through school so when I go I should watch them and then hang around and do some laps...

Hopefully you will get a new pool soon then Pinkie....My brother told me about getting a resistance band and tying one end to my ankle and the other to our backyard pool so I can still swim and get the exercise with out looking like a complete moron swimming in circles.....maybe you could do the same for your spa??

Kate....I am not sure what it costs for babies at the pool where you are, maybe call them to check it out. It would cost me $35 a month for a single pass but that was when I swam 5 days a week and it was saving me around $31 a month to do it this way. They also have family passes for the whole swimming season that are around $250.00 for 5 months which is really cheap as you can go as many times you like unlimited....it costs us $17 each time we go to the pool as a family so it is definitely cheaper to buy a pass, they do monthly family ones too for $65, so either way it is still cheaper than paying each time you go in......check you local pool Kate, that would be the best way for pricing and so on.

I saw some of those resistant things in Clarke Rubber a few months ago when I was buying chlorine. I thought about it but our pool is 10m long and I dont kick off when I turn around. I just touch and keep going.

Great going on the treadmill Marnie. Well done mate. And no gain is fantastic because you have probably put on a bit muscle. I bet you are starting to lose cms. Have you noticed your fitness level increasing??? I wish I had documented how much I was doing on the cross trainer in the beginning and how I felt after each session. Same with swimming. I know when I started out with the swimming in late October I could only just manage 1 lap of freestyle and fairly slow breast stroke. You are going great guns mate. Well done! :D

Wow I didn't realise that I haven't posted in here since the end of Jan!! LOL shows how distracted I've gotten since kiddies went back to school!

I've been getting up at 6.30am and doing a treadmill walk for 30 mins. Then at night when Biggest Loser is on I do another 30 min powerwalk/jog on my treadmill. Thanks to hubby who hooked up the tv in the room where my treadie is!! :D

And I've started netball once a week now! I haven't played for about 7 or 8 years and what's funny is, with my workouts on the treadmill and my crosstrainer I thought I'd be fairly fit to do the running around. No!! At least I sweated heaps and had a good workout! I was so surprised with all this exercise I've been doing I dropped a kilo nearly without even trying. I guess its true, the more active I am the less I'm sitting around and eating. Fancy that?
