I'm sick of office gossip, honestly it's doing my head in

Anyway I won't bore anyone reading this with my long winded babble (really I should be doing some work :) ) I'll just make one quick update.

I've revised my eating plan. I'm sick of counting kilojoules and being constantly worried of the numbers. My new strategy is to eat "clean" lots of fruit and veggies and as little processed food as possible. I do however try to keep each meal under 1300kjs and snacks under 400kjs, but I'm not obsessing about the numbers. My new eating plan is working a treat and I've managed to lose 1.5kgs this week. I've found this is working a treat, it's manageable and it's easy to do, and I've allowed myself the odd slice of toast here and there to helps with my cravings :D

After my Friday night drinking session I was afraid I wasn't going to lose any weight. I am very happy to say I have lost 700g - woo hoo.

Last week I dug out a photo of me weighing 55kgs. I was 22 years old then but it's my ultimate goal weight and I will get there. The picture is taking pride of place on my fridge so every time I feel tempted to eat for anything other than hunger I just look at the picture and get inspired all over again. I cannot say enough about the power of visualisation...well it helps me anyway.

5 weeks ago I took measurements and I'm losing centimeters everywhere except my bust   It's still at a whooping 110cm, compared to my waist (83 cm) and hip (87cms) measurements its huge   . I have my breast reduction/breast lift surgery in November which gives me 2 months to try and lose a bit more weight. I am hoping to weigh 67kgs by November. I know I can get there :!:

Hi Jen- congrats on the 0.7kg loss this week - good stuff, even with the Friday night drinking session :P

Your bust really wants to be big, doesn't it! I am one of those fortunate people who loses weight from everywhere (and puts on) so I'm always in proportion. You won't know yourself after your surgery and if you keep up your current momentum, I'm sure you'll easily hit your target of 67kg by then. I wonder how much your boobs weigh? You'll probably come out of hospital several kgs lighter!

Kate -ohhh I think I might have an inkling of your good news. Looking forward to catching up next year. Don't forget to bring your swimmers, we'll go for a dip in the pool, it'll be stinking hot.

I ponder the same thing every day - why are my breast so huge  . Sandra it would be so nice if my weight was spread proportionally but alas I am top heavy and no matter how much exercise and weight I lose my body does not want to be rid of the fat on my breast  . That's why I'm opting for the surgery, get the fat and fat cells removed - woo hoo. I'm looking forward to having perky breast with no stretch marks.

hahahaha I've wonder that myself, I recon they weigh about 2.5kgs each. They are so heavy. I can't wait to be rid of them and have my neck and back pains disappear. It will also make running a heck of a lot easier. I like the idea of not having to wear 2 sports bras and an in-built sports shirts just to go running. Just the one sports bra will be fine thank you.

6.7kgs is doable by November 1st. I'm just hoping my body doesn't hit a plateau. But by the end of my surgery I will definitely be a couple of kg's lighter :D :D :D

Of course its doable!

There are things you can do to prevent a plateau, i've read about people 'carb-cycling' and things like that. People have written about it on here, so your metabolism doesn't adjust.

Just keep doing things that surprise your body, like one day go for a walk in the morning AND night, just so your body doesnt get used to the same routine.
Starting Weight: 62kg Current Weight: 55.0kg Goal Weight: 54kg

Goal Reached 22 February 2008, Must get down to 54kg again!

67kg by november sounds definitely doable jen.

how exciting for you about the surgery. i've umm'ed and ahh'ed about the thought of it myself for years but i really want to lose weight first to see if that makes any difference (they got bigger with weight gain, so here's hoping they get smaller with weight loss!)...i've often wondered myself what they weigh (i could be under 90 goddamit! )

congrats on the continued weight loss as well! are you tracking changes to your fitness at all? you must be getting super fit :)

Are you referring to a (I think it's called this) zig zag? My mate who is a PT told me about at the beginning of the year. Varying calorie intake for 2-3 days so your body doesn't adjust.

Thanks for the advice. I've been varying my exercise routine so my body doesn't get used to it. Like running I'm having to run a lot further now as my usual 5ks is quite easy (I don't even break out in a sweat anymore)

Sassi- I was going to hold off and wait and see how my body will react when I lose the 20kgs but I know they will be saggy and I don't want to be looking at grandma boobies sagging past my stomach      . The skin and tissue has been stretched too much for me to ever have perky breast without the surgery.

When I first started thinking about it I bought a men's porno mag    to do research but all the models had fake huge ones so I didn't really help at all   . Though my ex got a shock when he saw me perusing through it while I was having my morning cup of coffee . The look on his face alone was worth the pointless research

My surgeon has taken my measurements and my body frame and he said that B cup will suit my frame. Although I want to go as small as an A cup. I’m so looking forward to my surgery. I have the date of my surgery with 67kgs written down on a post it on my fridge and I look at it every morning. I visualise it. And I will be that weight by the time I get to my surgery.

Umm I don't actually track my exercise. I just make sure that I exercise morning and night. I wouldn't say I'm supper fit. If I try something new and give it my all I'm usually out of breath as my body isn't used to being pushed in that certain way. Like a couple of weekends ago I went swimming and found it such a good work out I was so puffed but when I run I don't feel puffed at all :?

I was good last night and didn’t have any alcoholic drink :D :D . Even though my company ordered a bottle of wine, I was strong and refused. I was very tempted though. I had such a huge craving for Mexican food we had to drive out to the suburbs to find a Mexican restaurant, there were none in the CBD, which I’m surprised at considering they have everything else.

I managed to consume a liter of water after my exercise and then when I got home around 11 I sat at my computer with a huge 2L bottle of water I bought from Seven Eleven. I was planning on buying some redbull to help keep me awake but I was good. I’m so tired now and very tempted to just crawl into bed. I only had 3 hours sleep this morning. I didn’t get to bed till 3am (I was on a roll and didn’t want to stop working). It was raining again this morning so I ended up doing a Hot Pants DVD workout. It was so much fun :D . I don’t know if I’m going to do a work out this evening as I’ve brought work home with which I need to do before tomorrow morning and I want to get to bed at a reasonable hour. I will see how I go.

Some other good news….I spoilt myself a bit today. There is nothing like shopping to make a girl feel happy about herself.

I went into Xile during my lunch break to buy myself a dress for this Saturday (as I have a work do to attend). I was intending on wearing a dress I bought months back but it’s too tight around my bust (typical). Anyhow I fell in love with this gorgeous Dolce and Gabbana dress I was salivating over it so I had to buy it. I will post pickies. I’m allowing myself to get sloshed that night lol. I’m also a bit nervous as I’m taking my special friend along with me, as I have a spare ticket. It should be a good night.

I also bought a pair of Cavalli Jeans. I love Roberto Cavalli no cheap made in china clothing – instead a beautifully cut/ designed pair of Italian jeans. They are a size 10 a size too small (well they fit around my thighs and bum but I can't do them up) but I am so going to work towards getting into them I think by November I should definitely be able to do them up without having a muffin top hahahahaha. My reward :D :D

I aim to be wearing them at my coming out party (as in showing off my new breast) how lame, but after I’ve recuperated from surgery I’m inviting my girlfriends round for drinkies and will be wearing a frilly/ delicate top that I haven’t been able to wear before :D :D :D .

Well enough rambling, I’m going to go and make my mushroom soup and then do a bit of work before I hit the sack.
