Hi Tamara,

Personally I would be inclined to use the home undressed weight. Reason being you can weigh yourself on these scales at anytime, and you don't have to worry about clothing weight. If you weigh yourself on the same scales without clothes you should get a pretty accurate idea of how much weight you lose from week to week. Although they may not be as accurate as the expensive gym scales in telling you your exact weight they should do fine to track progress, maybe us the gym scales when you get really close to your goal weight.

my first week back into weightloss i lost 4.3kg! so no 3kg isnt too much. the professionals actually recommend between 1/2kg - 1kg a week so you have done really well. you should be so proud :) it takes awhile to realise that you have lost it. it doesnt happen over night. sometimes i look in the mirror and still think i look the same. it will be other people who notice first before you notice!! keep doing what you have been doing tamara- its obviously working :) i am going well thanks for asking. just got back from a run so i feel sticky and smelly :P

i have noticed my fitness levels increasing but yeah, like you said, others will notice. i had a friend tell me that she could notice something and i couldn't see it so assumed she was just being nice. i guess you notice when your clothes fit differently?

and thank you mandie

yeah you go through a stage where you think 'oh people are just saying that they dont really mean it' but once you start seeing the results yourself you dont take those comments from other people for granted! yeah your clothes will get looser, and you will notice things change- like youe tummy will feel flatter (not as bloated) or jewellery will be looser. i can wear my engagement ring now- it needs to be resized. :)

That's FANTASTIC, not that you have to pay for a resize but it's great that it's too big!!!
When I can fit into my 'in the middle' pants, then I will accept that something is changing!! lol
As for tummy, that will probably never disappear. My boys stretched me quite a bit, they were both very large (weightwise) when they were born.

Hey Tamara, I think that loss is great, don't be to worried that its too much because its not really, so long as you are still eating sufficiently its all good!

I think I am in the same boat as u with the big baby belly lol both my kids were big too. I am sure you will notice the weight loss soon. I can't tell I have lost weight looking at myself in the mirror yet but I notice with little things like I have a pair of jeans that used to be tight straight after being washed and dried but now they aren't, they fit me fine straight out of the dryer.
