well done carmen!!! i was shopping today and saw a whole heap of women and girls wearing netball gear too. very unflattering!!

oh yeah Kate - you remember that pic I posted of the uniform? Well it was fairly comfortable - but very tight as lycra is. We are just lucky as ours are dark blue - but another club's was this gray coolour - almost silver - it was sooo bad...

They brough in the new uniforms for the professional teams first - to 'sexy' up the game and bring in more viewers... so I guess that eventually filtered down to the club level... there are other teams in our club that don't wear the lycra suits, just the normal skirt and shirt - apparently it was a choice and our team chose the lycra!! but there were other combinations there - some had the lycra as a a two peice which I would have prefered over the all in one.....

yeah me....lol....nah everyone is pretty much small... apparently there is a girl in Intermediates who is a ladies size 20.. poor thing....

I would think it would be off putting for some women - lycra isn't very friendly to the overweight gal!

well so far I have lost over 6kg which is great - the new gym I have joined opens this week so I am stoked! Am also playing netball two days a week so on the road to my goal!!
