PHEW... It's been a killer weight loss week. So far, from last week until now (7:10pm Tuesday) I've lost 9 kilos!

Of course, 3880g of that is my adorous little chickie, Jasmine, who was born almost a week ago at 9:36pm, and I've been losing a bit more each day. I was feverish and fluey for about 24hours (finishing last night) so it's possible I'm a bit dehydrated. That was nasty, though Jasmine seemed to enjoy the extra warm milk!

So here I am on Tuesday, weighing 102.5 kilos. Onwards and downwards...

My hubby says not to exercise for at least a fortnight, which is fine with me, though I'm not greatly hungry and I feel like doing things rather than sitting on the couch. Hopefully I'll be able to at least get down to my pre-preg weight of 99 without too much trouble.

Hey, Shelbel... yes, it did snow, but we have a nice roasty little heater (as all Ballarat-ish folk do). I think it coincided with taking Jasmine home from hospital, but only her little face felt the shock. lol.

I started watching my calories yesterday (2000 per day, though I went over... I forgot how easy that is!) and I start a bit of exercise today, when my hubby gets home. Think I'll do 2km on the tready. Weight is still dropping, but I'm going to claim it as my own work -LOL- because I'm tired enough to have earned it properly, damn it, averaging 5 hours sleep a night and being the dairy cow! Speaking of which, she's hungry again... gotta go!

Of course any weight loss you experience is your own work! After all, if you ate your own bodyweight in chocolate and gained weight you wouldn't be claiming that wasn't your own work would you? So why shouldn't weight loss be the same? After all, in this instance you've decided not to eat your own body weight in chocolate so you should congratulate yourself for that!

Good luck with the treadmill. It sounds like you have a great eating and exercise plan going on. I'm sure your baby appreciates your dairy cow activities as well!

Evil Wombat Queen, your logic is flawless! lol.

Hard to do exercise, but I managed a bit. Hard, because for some reason (though I do it all day) my hubby can't seem to cope with a 14 month old AND a baby who is crying. 5 minutes, and it's, "I don't know what's wrong, so she MUST be hungry, even though you just fed her..." Sigh.

Anyway, I did a few k's and cut 10 off my virtual trip. Plus I had a few hours off to go shopping (fun-shopping and grocery-shopping). I took Jasmine in the carrier, and we wandered around for a few hours. My calories ended up averaging 2040, which is close to my goal of 2000, though I had to guess quite a few things. I went to MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) only three times before I couldn't go any more because of the midwives clinic visits and ultrasounds and just being fat and tired, but MOPS still organized me EIGHT meals over 4 weeks, which is very, very nice. Also both mum and mil brought out meals, so we haven't done too much cooking. But neither do I have any idea how many calories are in these foods, so I guestimated.

Well, I lost a little, so I'm going to carry on as I have been, with hopefully a little more exercise.

Only did 3 days of tread/bike this week, and ate a bit badly, so I was glad to lose 0.2 instead of going up! Hopefully I will do better this week, and lose at least the 0.4 to get to my first goal: pre-preg weight of 99.

A loss is a loss. Good on you! At least you're 0.2kg closer to goal than you were last week. Well done!
