Shock Horror a gain of 500g
I am really disapointed. I knew it wasn't a great week but there was no snacking but too much drinking. I crawled back into bed after the weigh in and started to think about what went on last week. Friday night we went to inlaws for dinner. I took a warm chicken salad and that is all i ate but did have 2 or 3 glasses wine. I ended up going to stay with a friend at her inlaws holiday house on Sat night. She suggested that we get pizza for dinner and I said that I would make something instead so made a good choice there but we had a bottle of wine with dinner and i probably had 2/3 of it. Sunday was good but we went to my parents for dinner and had a roast (probably not a great choice) and yet again another couple of glasses of wine. Monday was fine except two other girls from work have joined me on my walks and they walk too slowly so my walks from mon -wed are not as vigourous as they have been. Tuesday night I had too much pasta for dinner (went back for seconds
)Wednesday I had lunch with my sister in law at a cafe she works in. I had the chicken, leek and mushroom pie which basically just had filo pastry on top but I think it was probably laden with butter and cream because it was absolutely delicoius. Last night I went out for Thai with friends. I wasn't terrible tried to stick to stirfrys but a few spoons of curry slipped on my plate but again had 3 or 4 glasses of wine. Yep when I write it down like that too much drinking. Anyway I have joined calorie king and will start counting my calories each day and start using a food diary. Hopefully this will help.
This week is going to be challenging so I just have to work my way through it. We are going to stay with old friends this weekend who we haven't seen for years so I will be drinking Friday and Saturday nights
It is my son's second birthday on Thursday and we are having all the family over for dinner (both sides) Thursday night. At least if I am catering I can control what goes on the menu!!
I am going to give myself until the end of September to get down to my first mini goal of 120kg If I haven't reached it by then I will have to seriously consider joining a weight loss program.
