Week 7

Postby Lizzie » Fri Aug 03, 2007 10:00 pm

A loss of 600g this week.
I have kept up the exercise and I actually look forward to going for my walks which is great. I have slacked off on the food diary but will concentrate on it again this week. Mostly good choices although a wedding Friday night consumed well over my whole weeks alcohol intake.
I have been thinking about my first mini goal of losing 10% of my body weight by the end of Sept. I just looked at the calendar and I have decided to give myself nine weeks so the weigh in for the 5th October should be it! This means I have to average 650g per week - I think that is a pretty realistic goal at this stage. If I get there sooner even better!!

hi lizzie

hope you enjoyed yourself at the wedding? all the weddings i have been to the food has been fancy gourmet stuff that i dont eat anyway lol. i think i lose weight at weddings more than putting it with all the dancing and lack of eating :P

your goal is certainly achievable you are doing really well. you should be pleased as punch that you are enjoying your exercise each day. i notice that if i miss a day i dont feel quite the same lol.

have a good week and good luck :)

Good loss Lizzie and like Kate I too think your goal is realistic.

You are doing so well, nice and steady and that 10% goal really isn't so far away. :D

Good work! You have come so far already... And I can't wait to see that you have lost 10% by October (if not sooner!!!). It's a great feeling!

Week 8

Postby Lizzie » Sat Aug 11, 2007 5:57 pm

I am not sure I actually believe the loss this week must be a bit of fluid in there so I am trying not to get too excited but secretly I am thrilled (1.4kg) I had to get on and off the scales a few times to make sure they were OK! Anyway I will be pleased if I still weigh the same in the next week. Things are cruising along as usual - I have taken this week off work so will get plenty of exercise in. I might even go to an aerobics class - I'll see how I go.

Week 9

Postby Lizzie » Fri Aug 17, 2007 8:18 am

A loss of 800g :D

Has it really been 9 weeks since I joined? I can not believe how quickly time flies.....anyway it was a good week. I took the week off work and kept the kids in care so it was lovely to have plenty of time to myself and doing all the things I have been meaning to do for ages! I am only about 4 kg off the massage - I am really looking forward to it! I am going to have a day spa type one not the painful type as described by some of the other forum members!!
